Monk

 (662)
8.02009X-Ray7+
Celebrating its 100th episode this season, MONK returns with Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award winner Tony Shalhoub as Adrian Monk, the obsessive-compulsive detective. Emmy-winning and Golden Globe-nominated Hector Elizondo ("Pretty Woman," "Cane") joins the cast as Adrian's much-needed therapist. One of the critically-acclaimed and most-watched shows on cable, MONK's seventh season will continue to have great guest stars, creative cases and an all-star cast including Traylor Howard, Ted Levine, Jason Gray-Stanford and Emmy Clarke. As we kick off season seven, Monk is fed up with a noisy neighbor and decides to move into a new house, where - in addition to the usual pitfalls of home ownership that introduces him to empathetic handyman (Brad Garrett) - he encounters a murder; and after the untimely death of his beloved Dr. Kroger, Monk reluctantly tries out a new therapist.

A fun and diverting series and a good season
Verified purchase
Sure beats watching the jarring, loud, violent or vacuous and amoral stuff that masquerades as entertainment nowadays. I find these characters are warm and lovable, the plots are fun and lights (though I don't like the unnecessary graphic violence in some of the murders and fast forward through them) and Natalie is cute as hell. She almost makes me want to give Gemini ladies a second chance.

Received scratched CD's

I LOVE the series. but a couple of the CD's had scratched episodes, that were unwatchable. Seems to be a continuing problem with CD's from Amazon because I saw the same problem happened with a reviewer. Didn't return because it would mean more hassle than it was worth. I'll just know not to order future CD's from Amazon anymore, and will alert friends.

I love this show. The actors are incredibly talented, and the episodes are really great. This is one of my go-to shows for rewatchs. Highly recommend watching MONK if you haven't before. (But let's be honest, do people who have never seen MONK even exist??)

I'm OCD about Monk
Verified purchase
Another fun to watch season of Monk. We make a family time out of having a meal, a talk, and an occasional episode of this series. It's an easy to watch comedy show whose plot involves the solution of a crime, and whose theme is about relationships. The series helps me laugh at myself. For me it's a must have.

BTW, While the review is about the product, I'll just comment about Amazon ... Our preorder price was higher than the lowest posted price before release. Amazon AUTOMATICALLY (that's without our request) refunded the difference between our order price and the lowest listed price. One more reason I like dealing with Amazon.com.

best evening/weekend I had
Verified purchase
Stuck at home with a bad cold over the weekend with Christmas parties happening all over the town. I did the next best thing... downloaded the season 7 Monk and had a great time.
The shows were full of best acting I have seen in a while. I loved the writing and the depth of what is being done by the writers. Great job guys!
I dont have a TV or cable so this is the only way besides buying the DVD (which is NOT out yet) to see the Monk Shows.
Glad my shows are stored and I was able to watch them again. Thank you for turning the bad evening into a good one! I watched the shows over again into the whole weekend!

Who doesn’t love a good show without rated R violence. Our whole family liked sharing movie night with MONK.
