Oh man

Demon/ghost comedy movie meets the matrix, meets Johnny mnemonic, meets uhhh what? It started out ok but slightly over the top, about 45 mins in it goes way off the rails and stays there. It was slightly enjoyable and would earn more stars, if not for the extremely out there plot twists and weird off the wall concepts that kept popping up.

Normally I do not like foreign films

It could be that it is due to having to read what is going on the screen while they speak another language. But this was in English with an Aussie accent which is fine. I think having to read the text kind of takes away from the immersion in the movie. When I watch a good movie I get lost in it and do not even really realize I am watching. I guess you could think of it as a dream and when I am reading it takes away from the visual part. The exact opposite happens when I read a good book. I have been reading a good book and I will come out of the book world into the real world and see that I am many pages further along. I don't remember turning pages.

This was a decent movie with fine acting and decent visuals. The 3D printing of people was a bit much but it wasn't used more than a few times. It was a cheesy way to bring a main character back from the dead but whatever. Think of this movie as Demonbusters instead of Ghostbusters. Maybe on par with Ghostbusters 2.

You have got to watch this!

This movie is awesome; no seriously it's a really great movie. You need to watch this. If you have seen a lot of classic sci-fi and/or horror movies and want something great to watch with a bit of 'modern' to it this is everything. Has that Ghostbusters feel for sure along with a few others. Love the job they did with this; both cast and crew. Might be a bit 'scary' for young ones in the same way Ghostbusters can be 'scary'. Either way watch this and share it with your friends. It does not disappoint.

Didn't quite live up to my expectations
Verified purchase
When I saw that this was from the team that brought us the innovative and fun "Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead," I was in immediately. It looked like a hoot. But despite a much higher budget and a larger palette, it was far less satisfying. The effects were great and the casting was on point, but something was lacking. If I could put my finger on it, I'd write my own movie. But while this was an adequate movie with a new twist on an old formula, it felt a little flat. I think the tone was off: There wasn't enough comedy, and what there was didn't feel organic. Still worth a watch.

Loved it!

This movie showed up as recommended and I rented it with very low expectations. What a pleasant surprise! I loved it! Everything from the acting, plot, and special effects was fantastic. It's fun and funny and filled with sexy people with Australian accents. I highly recommend it.

Hits the perfect silly action notes. Great cast

This is a really fun movie. It knows exactly what it wants to be. The cast is good and the acting is pitch perfect for what is asked of everyone. No it won't win an oscar, but so what. It is simply a fun, crazy, silly horror/action movie. It finds the sweet spot that so many of these types of movies try for an miss. World building is done well. I would love to see a sequel or tv show built off this. Good work everyone involved!

Not serious fun

I've been watching these types of films lately. Silly science fiction mixed with creature feature or just dark comedy horror. Nekrotronic is ridiculous and that's okay. There is some really funny stuff here and the CGI is not too bad. I was so confused as to what the rules were for these characters and I realized about half-way through that there are no rules and started to just enjoy it. Have a few drinks and enjoy this cartoon of a film. Just my opinion.
