The Nugget = Hassle and Mess Free!
Ever wish you could measure the perfect amount of laundry soap every time you put a load in? Nellie’s Laundry Nuggets are the solution. Measured out into one-load packets, all you have to do is throw a laundry nugget in with your clothes and turn on the washing machine.
The casing on the Laundry Nuggets is made of MonoSol film and dissolves in water, therefore there’s no need to “open” the nugget before throwing it in the wash. It will dissolve as your clothes are washed, leaving you with fresh, clean laundry.
Laundry Nuggets are hassle and mess free, great for those of us who don’t have a lot of time to fuss over the laundry – from busy moms to bachelors tied up with work!
Why Powder?
Liquid detergents are made up largely of water. At Nellie’s, we don’t think selling and moving water around the planet is a very good idea.
The fact is, more cleaning power can be packed into a smaller space using powder.

Here's the breakdown of our formula -
- Sodium Carbonate - purpose: pH Adjuster // what is it? water-soluble sodium salt
- Linear Alcohol Ethoxylate - purpose: primary detergent // what is it? surfactant (the stuff that cleans)
- Sodium Chloride - purpose: viscosity modifier // what is it? salt (helps fights stains & maintain color)
- Sodium Metasilicate - purpose: alkaline scouring for washer // what is it? cleaning and de-rusting solution
- MonoSol film - purpose: holds nugget together // what is it? water-soluble packaging Nellie loves the environment as much as she loves animals, that is why our products are Leaping Bunny Certified (no animal testing).

Neither of these tins of Nellie's Laundry Nuggets were Acceptable

I have used Nellie's Laundry Nuggets for several years and have NEVER had any of them arrive in the shape these 2 were in. The first tin came with the nuggets as hard as rocks and appears to have been exposed to moisture at some time. Some of the nuggets were broken open with nothing in them. Amazon had them replaced and the replacement nuggets were equally as unacceptable, as well as packaged in a bag, so the 2nd tin was also dented in several places. Both of the tins contents I received seemed to be very old. If there was a "zero star" choice I would have used that. I love Nellie's and will continue to purchase their products, but must have to use another vendor. Amazon's C/S folks tried their best. This is no reflection on them.
