    It is a decent machine. I can make 8qt of ice cream in one go. Do have a lot of small ice cubes or crushed ice and lots of salt handy. I think I used two large ziploc back worth of small ice cubes and quite a bit of salt. Didn't measure how much salt.
    The build of the bucket is sad though, I have loose boards. They should just make it a plastic bucket and call it a day. The drain hole on the side is annoying and not helpful, at least include a plug.
