1.0 out of 5 stars Whew.....ee........What Do You Feed your Chickens?
By amazoncustomermj on September 30, 2020
These just came today. As soon as I opened the carton, I got a STRONG FISH SMELL. I smelled each one individually & each egg smelled like a WET DOG! What is the problem here? Eggs do not smell. I raised chickens, roosters, ducks, geese & turkeys from 1991 thru 1997. Brown eggs. Had 20 red Chickens in a large pen. They were fed the standard chicken food that was available to the farmers in the Maryland area at that time. Our eggs did not smell. I did the float test; non floated & that's good. I put each one in a bowl of water and patted dry. The smell left for about 2 minutes. I opened one up as seen in above picture. I almost fell over cuz of the odor. I'm throwing them all out. I cannot risk getting some disease from this rotten batch of eggs. I've gotten this far without Covid & I certainly don't want egg..itis.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good eggs but not the best choice
By Jess S. on March 9, 2021
Organic valley is a very popular brand on the market, but this is my first time trying their eggs. All right, I personally like dark yolks and rich creamy taste eggs. These eggs are fine but not the best. Price is high but it tastes not much better than Happy Belly brand. As my pictures show, by comparison winner is Vital Farms pasture raised eggs.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too expensive
By GamerMom on January 2, 2021
The fact that these are organic free range eggs are great. But, I guess I expected a noticeable difference in taste. They do taste good but I don’t notice a noticeable difference from cage free eggs. I prefer to buy free range for the little chickens happiness. The carton I got was ripped and expires in a few days. I also noticed that the yolks are not the same color. Both of these eggs in the picture are from the same carton, you can see that one yolk is orange and one is yellow. I’m not quite sure why. For $4.99 a carton, I guess I expected something more.
