After giving these to my dog, she started to vomit following meals. Not sure if it was these dental sticks or something else she ate, we stopped giving them to her until her tummy settled down and she was back to normal. Then we re-introduced the dental sticks to her again. Her upset stomach issues returned. That was enough to convince us that she couldn't tolerate something in the dental sticks.
In all fairness, like humans, dogs have allergies to certain food ingredients. Thus, I'm not saying these will make your dog sick. There's something in them that my dog is very sensitive to and it upsets her stomach. They may be just fine for your dog(s). You'll have to try them, if so inclined, and see.

I have a 3 year old Golden & a 7 yr old pit mix. These treats made BOTH of my dogs sick, especially my golden retriever. I woke up to 3 accidents downstairs from my female pit and my poor golden boy who is crated had gotten sick and had vomit and diarrhea all over him, which he’d likely had to lay in most of the night. They are still sick and likely will have to taken to the vet, not a happy dog mom at all right now!!! I spent many hours cleaning but the worst part is my dogs not feeling well due to these horrible treats. I have tried many different type of treats in general and also a few different dental treat, with no issues at all in the past. Do not risk buying these for your dogs please! So not worth the risk of your dog(s) getting ill. Throwing those things in the trash where they belong.

Highly recommend these as a treat and keeping their oral health. We buy these regularly with Kong Large as a care package for displaced dogs. My neighbor fosters a lot of dogs, and every month we get her a nice cushion leash, Dentastix and Kong. Most of the dogs we send this care package to has had their teeth neglected. Too bad you cannot return this thing.
Also noticed that the sticks are DRY as opposed to the medium I already have, that's more softer and easier to break into pieces.
Box was also mangled ... ripped in a few places.
Very disappointed and am not getting this (LARGE) ever again ... will stick to mediums.
Also, this large box of 40 costs $1.19/stick (at $47.55 + tax).
Medium size of 40 is $13.98 = $0.35/stick.
OMG!!! What a rip off indeed.
