So, why only 3 stars you ask??
1. The mouse driver is kind of bunk. First off, there is no CD like it says. Not a big deal, but not sure why it says it comes with one. My main peeve is that the mouse does not always wheel scroll in every application. I have uninstalled/re-installed the driver, changed USB ports, unplugged/replugged the mouse, to no avail. It is very annoying, and, I guess I never knew how much I used the scroll function until now, lol. If I have to scroll a ton, it annoys me very much not being able to use the wheel.
This happens sporadically, and mostly with older applications. My OS is Windows 10, but none of my other mice have this scrolling problem. It has to be some compatibility issue, because if I turn off the mouse Perixx driver/progam, the scroll for this mouse works fine with every application! What the heck? I have adjusted the Perixx scrolling preference to match Windows mouse driver defaults, but that did not work. If I am working, I just turn off the program and forfeit my "custom" buttons.
2. You have to keep the program mouse running in the background, which I am not a fan of, but understand, and you can have different profiles, whatevs. Despite this program always running, my "custom" functions do not always work (not talking about when I have Perixx program closed), so I might as well not have a "custom" button. Not only that, but the custom functions are limited to 15-20 functions they define. Many of them are not helpful, and I would like to add something like "minimize all windows," but that is not an option. Even some of their pre-defined options do not work in Windows 10, like open calculator. Sadly, I would actually use that, but it doesn't work.
3. I just wish it had a third physical custom button. Minor issue, I do not consider wheel click a "button" per se.
4. Very minor issue here. Using the mouse with your left hand is downright painful! Lol. I know it is not intended for this, but sometimes I need to use the mouse with my left hand, like if I am talking to a person to my far right, and need to reach back with my left hand. Using this with your left hand sucks! Hahaha. Again, I guess I never knew how much I did this until I had this type of mouse.
Overall, the mouse feels great, and I love the price, but I just wish it worked as well as it was intended. I would describe this as a finicky mouse. If I could get the functionality of my other mice, with the form of this mouse, it would be perfect! Really, this is about 3.5 stars IMO, but closer to 3.

Update: Got it in December, it's now July. The scrolling mouse wheel has slowly lost it's ability to make the cursor move. The wheel will go round but it doesn't always 'grab' the cursor to make that move. I expected better for mouse - I've had mice last many, many years...not this one.
Now I have to waste my time hunting for a different brand and spend more money when this one should have lasted MUCH longer!

Got it for my wife that developed some pain on her wrist by using conventional mouse at work. She loved this one from minute one. The additional buttons for back/forward browsing resulted quite practical. The texture of the material feels soft and nice to the touch and it's just plug-and-play.
We've got the wired one for the sake of avoid charging or batteries and it's just what we needed.
My other half feels a lot better now about her wrist and I'm considering to get one for me to prevent to start developing the same wrist issue.
The programmable keys work fine. You can assign any key to the programmable buttons using a simple macro setup in advanced mode, which was easy to do.
The scroll wheel is narrow and feels cheap. Doesn't feel good to click either. The main buttons are fine and have a nice light action for gaming. Sensor seems fine to me. Main negative is that this is really hard to pick up, so hard to get used to if you like to adjust the mouse position while gaming.
Anchor mouse is a better option for office use as has a better overall shape and material but performed badly while gaming.
Trust Rexx is the best for gaming. Better shape, material and sensor.
Both minor issues, 1/ I'm missing from my previous mouse is there's no middle button tilt on this mouse for horizontal scrolling. 2/ The scroll wheel is a little too low/centered for my liking between the two left/right buttons, would prefer it eccentrically higher up the device to be a comfortable reach for my left (top) finger to reach.
