That being said, I have used these treats with client dogs and personal dogs for roughly 4 years now. I found them through Chewy originally and normally hit Petsmart to buy them, but they’re actually cheaper through Amazon and come right to my door.
These treats have helped me train numerous dogs who were said to be “non-food motivated” and dogs who have been said to be “completely untrainable” - Including my own dog who’s previous owner couldn’t handle her (Shown I’m attached photos).
I have never once had a problem convincing even the pickiest eaters to accept these treats, nor have I ever had a problem with bloody stools or vet visits. Those reviews blaming the treats likely didn’t think to check for recalls on their kibble, or their dog might have even had some underlying condition that was not in any way shape or form related to the treats - or they might even be reviewing the wrong product considering these treats do not contain garlic.
All in all, these are fantastic treats. Do not let the negative reviews scare you away from an ingredient that isn’t even present.

I noticed blood in my pups stool, and also diarrhea but she seemed to be ok after a few days Of stopping treats, but this wasn’t the case for my other pup we just got back from a very scary & expensive trip to the vet, I’m not sure if because he is only 4 pounds this effected him differently but I’m going to state exactly what the vet told me because there is so much different information out there who knows what is accurate and what isn’t but mind you I’ve been told by another vet to stay away from garlic all together because as stated above it is poisonous so now hearing this new information I have no idea what is accurate and will leave my first hand experience for you to decide.
When I first purchased these I went off ratings because so many people seemed to have liked them and my dogs loved them leading me to purchase several times and I actually felt these were a 5 star item and were excellent for training purposes but always wondered why they were so inexpensive because every dog treat I purchase for my pups are pretty pricey, anyhow I decided as I was investigating further into the different food and treats I was giving to my pups the week of the diarrhea incident to try and find out what could have caused her issue and that’s when I found out garlic was in these and like I said I’ve heard 2 different things now about garlic but based on the 2 responses of my dogs getting very sick for them it’s better just to stay away from it all together, now I do want to be 100 honest and say for my second pup who got really sick and we had to rush him to the vet there may have been something else contributing to what caused him to get sick but there is no way to know for sure and I thought it was only right to share our experience here and leave it for you to decide what best for you & your pet. Also given all this I will be honest and say if garlic isn’t harmful in any way shape or form and in fact is the opposite as some people claim it to be and adding the love that my pups had for these treats before our really scary situation I would have left a full 5 stars but after everything we’ve been through and reading about garlic for dogs and having 1 vet tell me the same I truly feel this shouldn’t be made with garlic and can’t leave anything more than 1 star.
went from 5 stars to NO stars. we purchased the large bag and opened it on a Sunday for game day. Game day is where 3 of my friends come to play games and bring their dogs. We meet every other week. Well, the dogs loved them and so I saved them for the next game day 2 weeks later and they had mold on them. I'm old and didn't see it and when another player reached in the bag she said, "OMG, mold!" We stopped feeding them the treats of course. I did not throw away and by the 3rd week the treats were where I could easily see the mold. Buy small bags, I guess and really watch for the first sign of mold. I won't buy again though.
