The quality of this camera both in daylight and night vision is great. However it's function is TERRIBLE. It frequently will cut out without warning. I have to manually go in and check on the camera to find that it has been disconnected a d I have to reconnect. If there is a lot of movement in the line of sight it will glitch and become pixilated and often cut out all together. I do not want it to make a sound when I connect so I turned off the little chime it makes when I connect but instead there is a very loud crackle that comes through when I connect as if it tries to connect to my mic and then turns off (because I have the mic on my phone turned off) If I try and talk from my phone to the camera it is garbled and loud. I will be returning this asap.

Pros:- price. I'm pretty happy with this given the price. It's a fraction of the prices of the other Petcubes (Play and Bites), but of course it offers a bit less (no dispensing of treats, no laser for cats). But that just means I can get a couple more of this petcube cam to place in strategic locations to better spy on my dog so I can finally get a full story of what she's up to in our house lol.- mounting option. There's an option to mount this (sideways/upside down) using the given magnet. The cam is light enough for this. I might install this on the bottom of my cabinets or kitchen island lol.- lightweight. Doesn't weigh a lot and takes up a very small amount of room bc it's tiny!- setup was easy after i solved a problem (explained below in "cons")- notifications of events happening. I get a ping on my phone when something is detected. I think if you subscribe to a membership, you get premium features (including what TYPE of event was detected), but that's something you can opt in if you don't mind paying extra for better quality of life features.- night vision is pretty good.- you can put it to sleep using the app.Cons:- setup, but not really, if you are somewhat tech savvy. Sturdiness 10/10 because it literally doesn’t move. It’s a ONE frame camera meaning it doesn't move around.
Sound quality 2/10 (echoes if near the device with ur phone)
It does heat up a little but I've only had it for 3 days. Will be returning it this week for another brand.. look into heimvision or any of the other brands that have the rotation feature that allows u to move the camera around from you phone and look for ur peg.
Also the connection took way too long and was rly annoying but they do have support chat with real people that u can talk to.
