Assembly is a breeze, mounting is a breeze. Desk is beautiful, and well constructed for the price. Having a buddy around when it's time to hang it isn't a bad idea, but I managed alone. It feels very sturdy, for a floating desk. Will likely purchase more in the future.

Did a lot of researching before finally deciding on buying this desk. After reading all the comments I was afraid of getting the wrong color or have missing parts but all my worries disappeared when I opened up the box. Everything was there and even had extra parts left over. My small desk I had in my bedroom took up too much room. Years ago I had purchased a floating shelf and loved it. I finally found the desk to match. Looks like they were made for each other. Put the desk high enough so the arms of my chair fits underneath and if I wanted to stand it wouldn't be too awkward. Now my whole area is compact but yet have plenty of room for "stuff". I put the desk together by myself and it was kind of hard for me but after several attempts I got it together. Two people is needed to hang unless you a strong person. It took a while to get used to the desk because i had the sensation it may fall in my lap. It's been two weeks now and I am already used to the height. The only con I have is that the depth of 19" is almost not enough space for a monitor and keyboard. But this will only help me to keep the desk clutter free.

We bought this to put up in our guest quarters to save space. It's an awesome idea and the instructions were clear and the product itself is easy to assemble and hang. That being said, good luck getting one that arrives without some kind of damage! The first one I got the spray packing foam had gotten everywhere and hardened and is impossible to clean/scrape off without damaging the product. In addition it had tons and tons of scratches and flaws all over it (see pics)! I really like the fact that they send a touch up marker that you can use to touch up any dings or scratches that might occur over time or during assembly, but it shouldn’t have so many right out of the box!! The second one I got still had lots of dings and scratches and imperfections but I decided to keep it because it's too big of a pain to deal with returning it. I used the marker to get rid of anything super obvious. Once assembled and hung, the desk works really well and I like it and it definitely saves space, but I can't help but feel disappointed in the quality control of this item and how damaged it is fresh out of the packaging. If you feel like you can live with some scratches and dings, then I can recommend this product. Otherwise I suggest you keep looking.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this desk. I bought 2, one for my 7yo son, and one for myself, which I turned into a makeup table. The instructions are pretty good, and it's rather easy to assemble. I assembled both desks, and my husband hung them in the rooms. Since I have a ton of makeup, and my son has lots of books and in general is a bit more rough and tough, I reinforced every seam with Epoxy to give added strength and durability. I added small beads of Epoxy to each part (on the exposed particle board edges) before adjoining to the connecting piece and then screwing together securely. So far, they're holding up very well, but do be careful when attaching to the wall. My husband managed to split/shread one of the holes he had to drill into the one piece that doesn't come pre-drilled, shown in photo.
