The Value: 7/10
This mouse is more on the expensive side, but wow did it come in quick. One day shipping, impressive.
The Shape: 10/10
I loved the design of the first Deathadder, and it still reigns supreme. I have huge hands (easily can palm a professional basketball) and I’ve struggled with “esports mice,” notably the Glorious Model O Wireless. Button placement is great and it’s perfect for right-handed users.
The Buttons/Clicks: 9/10
The buttons and clicks feel a bit hollower compared to the Deathadder 2013. There’s just a slight more space needed to register a click. This is not a big issue and I’ve adapted fine. Response times are really quick with the new technology.
The Quality: 10/10
The mouse is really well-built. The rubberized sides feel good. It’s pretty much the Viper Ultimate specs with a different shell. It’s lighter than the Deathadder 2013 by 20 or so grams, so overall a great mouse.
The Software: 6/10
Here’s where everybody dumps their complaints. I know, the software requiring a login is dumb and invasive. It’s part of a higher-level product offering ploy. The fact that upon first plugging in the mouse, the computer pops up with an install for synapse and slows the computer down. I get it. My advice: setup an account, make your changes to RGB (which mine is off anyway), DPI, polling rate, etc., program multiple profiles using the onboard memory (in this case I have two DPI’s), then request to delete all of your user data through synapse. Delete account, uninstall synapse, then continue to live your life. You’ll be ok. If your worries about a gaming peripherals company “stealing and selling your data,” you’d be surprised of how much of your information you actually give on a daily basis just walking around in public with your Bluetooth on. Logitech has the same issue, so it’s rather hard to avoid.
Tl;dr: Great ergo wireless mouse, bad software with easy workaround. Great for people who don’t like the ambidextrous esports gaming mouse shape.

The ergonomics are grea,t it is a little slick but they sell third-party grip tape that you can put on it and it makes it so nice! Battery life is amazing! I will use my computer for 30 hours straight when I have a project due and I have never had the mouse die on me. Bought a third party magnetic charging dock that works perfect with this. It's even rgb!
I play FPS, MOBA, and RPG games I've never had a problem in any of them. The super high polling rate is very nice! Had a co-worker come over who is also into PC gaming and the very first thing he said was "Your mouse is so smooth!" (Also helps to have a high refresh rate monitor)
Tracking on different surface also works really well. I've used it on wooden table I used it on my pants when I'm not at my desk, or on my couch when I'm sitting on that. Also worked on my carbon fiber wrapped desk. Does not work on glass but neither does any other mouse because they need texture to track on.
Overall 10 out of 10. very good design very good battery very good performance!
Top reviews from other countries
-durable with no rubberize wear
-3 connection options including wired, 2.4Ghz connection dongle, get a keyboard with USB port makes it super convenient without having to keep a cable on your desk
-1000 polling rate
-super soft braided cable with no kinks
20k dpi is unnecessary as anything over 2k is basically unusable. I game in 4k 43" and 1600-1800dpi is enough.
I wouldn't pay more than $100 for any mouse.
Both are about the same size (medium to large hand) and for right handed only. I you tick the box for those 2 conditions and you want the best gaming mouse for FPS; hit that "buy" button. You won't regret it.
Works as a charm with the PS4 Pro.
The grip is amazing and I think it handles better people that have "sweaty" hands.
I read bad reviews about giving all your personnal information to be able to install Razer Synapse, but I created my new account with my email and a security secondary email, nothing more than that...
It worked flawlessly for a month and then suddenly the bluetooth stopped working dead. When i switch to bluetooth mode the mouse is totally dead, the rgb light doesn't even turn on. The 2.4ghz and wired connections still work but it now doesn't suit the only reason I upgraded to this from my old mouse.
Will try contact amazon for a replacement or Razer and will update my review after.
