Update: About 5 months after owning the Viper Ultimate I have found I play best with it over my whole collection. I initially thought the Mini was better but I am a little less precise with it. Right now I switch between the RVU and the Vaxee Zygen NP 01 fo Valorant (which I play the most) with the mini as my fast mouse for Apex and games like that. With the Viper Ultimate including the dock being 99$ right now for black friday I say jump on it. The mini is 29$! right now which is literally insane. I am having a hard time finding a mouse I play better with.
I play shooters, atm Valorant, CSGO, Destiny 2, Apex Legends (not so much after the wraith nerfs), and a little Overwatch here and there. I come from using a g305 and I love that thing. I bought this and was hitting shots I couldn't hit before. It was hard to get used to the grip at first but now I love it. So much so that I bought a Viper Ultimate and I can safely say I like the mini a lot better. My hands are medium sized- 19cm X 9cm and I switch between claw and fingertip. It is super light and the weight distribution is nice. M1,2,3,4 are really good, no play or issues. The cable is very light and flexible and I use it with a Razer bungie v2 and I honestly forget it's wired sometimes. The skates are some of the best stock I have seen. The sensor is super accurate and the resolution error has to be one of the best (I would have to look it up). Do not let the Razer branding or 40$ price fool you, this thing is top notch. Now i wish I could sell my week old 150$ Ultimate because it doesn't beat its 40$ little brother. Trust me, if you are looking for one of the top 3 mice out there. This is one of them.
Fantastic shape for small hands.
Good for palm, claw, fingertip grips, whatever. The hump does not impede my grip, even with small hands.
Clicks are not mushy and are also pretty low-volume; it's easy to spam-click unlike my last Zowie.
Side button clicks are tactile as well - no mushiness.
No software required. Plug & play and use DPI button to change DPI. Note: logo LED cycles through color spectrum by default.
-
Downside: made by Razer so I don't expect it to last for more than two weeks, based on my n=1 experience.
-
Of my closet-full of gaming mice, I see this being my favorite, if it lasts.
-
Update: after two days, the right-click has developed a 'bump' when being pressed lightly. Not a deal breaker but unfortunate.
In game sens is 1.1 and DPI 800, 1920x1080...installed the razer software just to turn off the RGB lights, but the lights looked like they were really good quality. I was kind of taken back at first at the vivid colors through the logo, didn't expect that at $40. Anyways I don't like excess lights so turned it off. The new software wasn't bad, but I try to run software free for my mouse.
Lift off distance is higher than the Zowies I have used (on default) but I didn't find that to be a problem. I've actually only noticed it when I'm doing things in windows but not in game.
Get it, try it out, you'll probably really like it if your coming from another small mouse!
I have small hands (with a fingertip grip) and this fits my hand very well and it just glides across my mouse pad. I haven't had any intense gaming sessions yet but I can already tell I will enjoy this mouse a lot. The buttons feel great in my hand. Even with my small hands I have easy access to M4 and M5 which was not possible on my previous mouse. SO happy about this.
Going back to the software, it is very easy to use. I immediately customized the RGB lighting and DPI settings with just a few simple clicks and it has many other features included like button remapping, calibration and more. So far, and at this price, the initial impressions are leading me to recommend this mouse to anyone with smaller hands and what's great is that if you have bigger hands Razer has other models for you.

I actually expected a mouse the same size as the Nano, as that's actually a mini (Nano) mouse, but instead i got a mouse the same size as the Dell.
Good points:
Feet are very low friction.
Accuracy is great (but my brain needs to adjust)
RGB is fun for 10 mins..
Software is extensive (although very large)
Wheel feels nice, not too clicky.
The lack of a rear hump makes it good for Claw or finger style (its big enough for palm style)
All of the buttons are assignable
Bad Points:
Its not Mini...
The L+R button clicks are VERY LOUD. There is no need for this, its a gaming mouse, so you will either have headphones on or speakers blaring out. The other 2 mice are almost silent in comparison...im not sure if ill get use to this...it's just over the top.
