Magnet Tore Out of Flap 1st Week

This purse is really, really fantastic. HOWEVER, the magnet is very strong and tore out of the fabric on the flap after one week. So disappointing as this bag looks great, and holds a surprising amount of stuff. Perfect for travel. Really unhappy that it tore so quickly. Or at all!

Beautiful Design, Not Built to Last

This bag is absolutely beautiful and I love the design. That’s why I was incredibly disappointed when the leather beneath the magnetic clasp ripped after about a month of use. I even tried to prevent this by opening it carefully from both sides, but this was still the result. It really is a shame—this bag is great and comfortable but perhaps the materials are just too cheap for it to last. Not worth the price tag. The rip isn’t horrible, but I have a feeling that this purse doesn’t have much life left in its current condition and the tear will only become worse and fast.

I bought this bag to replace my bag from GH Bass which was a similar style but for all the wear and tear from two years that my previous bag went through ; this one did not even come close. I assumed that since it’s a Fossil product; it would be great quality. However it’s December 2019 and it looks like the button is beginning to tear apart from the inner lining. The inner lining is made of the thinnest material in the world and every time you open/unbutton the magnet rips the lining one bit at a time. I’m not sure if I am eligible for a replacement for this!???
