I like the in depth of information covered in the series but the topic the creators chose were not that interesting to me. I was more interested in the huge comic revival of the 80's, the popularity of the antihero, the ever increasing diversity of characters and there are so many God like influences in the comic history other than Lee and Kirby that I think they just could have been more dynamic by focusing on other great people. Like Gail Simone, Wolfman/Perez and Claremont. I gave the series 3 stars because I was impressed with the caliber of celebrities like Phil Jimenez and Famke Janssen that were interviewed. The series seems like a good start but they need more episodes or another season to cover more information and include other stars of the comic world and the weird and wonderful oddities of comic history. The creators did address the comic movies success but again they never mentioned the huge impact comics are having on TV with the Arrow and Titans type programming. If anything the series is worth watching just for Phil Jimenez another superstar of the industry that was interviewed but his contributions were not even mentioned. ?

A truly wonderful documentary which can be appreciated on many levels. It is so worth watching. You get to see interviews with many of the important people in the US comic book industry. You learn about the two guys who invented Superman, he first superhero, and how completely exploited and abandoned to poverty they were while the franchise was raking in multi-millions. WonderWoman - had such serious creators, a man and his two women, and have you ever asked yourself why there is so much spanking and bondage in the original 1940s WonderWoman? How 9/11 impacted comics, etc., etc. So fascinating, and a whole bunch of stuff I was clueless about. Your appreciation of comics will appreciate considerably after you’ve watched this.

If you're in to comics at all, this series is worth a watch. The history in these episodes is in depth and fascinating. I love that it helps explore the depth of one of America's true original art forms.

The story of how the comics were made is only rivaled by the stories in the comics themselves.

Left me wanting more. Wanted stories on key comic heroes like Batman and Iron Man. Only really addressed Wonder Woman and Superman

pure diatribe, and Stan Lee being less than honest about his beginnings in the comic field .it was pure nepotism that got him his job 😂

The New York episode was incredibly boring. However, I loved the rest of the episodes. I got into reading graphic novels when I became an adult. I've been so busy to read anything, lately, but I went straight to the library to check out a new series, after watching this show. Please, make more episodes. I'm sure they're plenty of stories left to tell.

The show was very interesting! I'm not sure if they're doing any more episodes. I would definitely watch more, I learned a lot about different comics and a lot about the companies that made them.
