The first month of this watch was great (other than the battery life). I really enjoyed the tracking features and using it to work out.

A week after the return window closed from Amazon, this watch died on me. The side button stuck, it routinely overheated, and I got a line on my screen. Amazon directed me to Samsung and said they could help. Samsung had me send it in for warranty repairs. After sending it in, Samsung provided me with a quote for $219 to repair it. They said my waterproof watch had water damage. According to Samsung, you can only use it in fresh water, not salt water or the pool. I'm not an active swimmer, I just splash around in the shallow end with my kids. Additionally, I clean it after every swim. The Amazon legal section reads, "Water-resistant up to 50 meters per ISO standard 22810:2010. Not intended for scuba diving. Avoid excessive, sudden temperature changes and high-velocity activities. Rinse in fresh water/dry after use in sea water or chlorinated water," which I always did. This is not ok!

I bought this watch in June 2021 and just stopped working after only 3 months, just stopped. I don't swim with it I use it for running and every day use. Samsung said to send it back to them, They say the liquid damage is NOT covered by warranty. Here's the thig its advertised as a WATER RESISTANT WATCH made to track running, swimming etc!!!! One would then think that it is made to get wet and that a warranty would not be nulled for liquid damage such as sweat or water right. Well this is not the case with this watch. if you want to track running, swimming or any other activity that you sweat or if its possible for the watch to get wet in any other way!!!! I have spent countless hours on the phone with Samsun debating this and still am getting no resolution. The only thing I get is due to the liquid damage the warranty is now dull.

I am a android,pixel 3 owner. I previously had a fitbit, my second one that stopped charging correctly so i gave up and decided to look for an android watch. I love the design of this thing. The watch strap itself is super comfy and cool design which is important if you are wearing it all the time, including to bed for sleep tracking. I love how you can change the watch face but there is almost too many designs to chose from. The major problem I have is the whole app use. First as an android user for my phone, should be setup super easy. I had to install like 3 different apps on my phone to get it to work fully. Samsung health app is ok and it looks like it integrates with myfitnesspal but i just wish all this stuff would work together. I hate having to create a samsung account to go to their app store instead of just google play for apps. I am a heavy google user so i got youtube music to work on the watch but why doesn't google photos work? some samsung crap photo app. Also why can't I use google pay on this? I'm not putting all my credit cards into another samsung pay app so i can use it on the watch. So far the battery life is pretty bad. seems like i have to charge it every other day right now and i'm not heavily using it. charging is easy except it forget it on the charger. would be better to wirelessly charge it somehow while it's on my wrist. seeing as this is one of the main reasons i gave up on my fitbit which would normally need to be recharged only once a week this is a big fail. other than that great device.

This watch was bought on prime day for a Christmas gift for my daughter. She loved how it looked and some of the customized settings but she became frustrated with the battery life. I swapped her for my fit bit versa.
I do like the graphics and some of the features. I had planned to charge the watch while I showered. But it still dies in less than 2 days even wiyh daily charges . I have an iPhone which means I can’t receive texts on my watch. I prefer the interface of the Fitbit data collection/apps for tracking all of my fitness and health. Overall this was a very disappointing purchase & out of the return window because it was purchased in advance in order to save money. I wish I could just get another Fitbit.

After reading alot of conflicting reviews, we decided to buy this watch and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I love the steps and sleep tracking (I dont sleep so this is important to me) and I love that it tells me based on my sleep pattern how much physical and mental recovery I get on a daily basis. It tracks my steps relatively accurately and it throws me a party when i go look for a snack (in it's defense it doesn't know where I am going, just that I am moving around).
My biggest complaint is the battery life, but I get plenty of phone activity that I think drains it faster. I had to take off the email option, but other apps, like text, FB messenger, Groupme etc continue to vibrate when a message come in which I think is why some days the batter is dying before the day is over. It charges quickly which is an easy fix to this.
I loved it so much I got one for my mother in law, and one for my daughter for their birthdays.

Stopped working after 8 months.

Samsung will not honor their warranty. My mothers watch died after 8 months of use. Per samsung they will repair her watch for $208 since the watch was "damaged" by water. It was never submerged in water, the only water contact it ever had was a splash from rain or during hand washing. It was not used in shower or while swimming. This watch has no physical damage. I seriously regret buying this watch and will not be buying any more samsung devices.

I love the fact that it counts my steps, tracks my water intake, has the weather, super cute watch face (I kept the flower) but you can also use your pictures as a watch face. Automatically tracks exercise. I was out walking and my watch alerted me that it sensed that I was working out and would I like to track it. I'm just tickled. I had been going with Fitbit but needed a change and thought I would try this watch. So glad I did! I am a newbie at the whole smart watch thing since my Fitbit didn't do as much as this watch does.
My only negative is that I have to charge it almost everyday. But that could be my fault since I have so many apps on my watch.
