This is the greatest thing I've ever purchased! It was fairly easy to put together, it's sturdy and easy to move from one spot to another. Most importantly, my 22 month old daughter LOVES it. She loves being able to help mom cook in the kitchen, wash her hands independently, rinse off dishes, etc. She even prefers to eat at the kitchen counter. This helper stool has really been a life saver in keeping my toddler occupied and feeling involved. Less boredom for toddler = less whining and a happy mom!

Okay could be better

We have had this kitchen learning tower for 6 months. We got it for our daughter for her 1st birthday. She loves watching us cook and eating snacks in this tower. There are a few things that would make it better so I will mention them.
First, there’s a screw that has fallen out several times, it doesn’t seem to affect the sturdiness but we have kept replacing it. Second the rubber pads it came with fell off within a month and I have since replaced them, if you don’t use something this will scratch up wooden floors. Third and most importantly the way the sides are designed is not great, my toddler has recently figured out how to climb up the sides and can get on the kitchen counter. After a lot of redirection and continued climbing we have decided to put this into storage until she is a little older. If the slats were verticals it would be impossible to climb and would solve the problem. For the price overall it is good but for a little more we could have purchased something that was great.

Worth the money!

I love the fact that this product is solid wood; which means it will last much longer than cheap plastic or pressed board. It was fairly easy to assemble; if you aren't a total idiot. The only issue I had with it was the smell fresh out of the box. I assume it is due to the finish applied to protect against the elements. I took a little soapy bleach water and wiped it down. I applied 4 of the slip resistant stickers to the bottom and two towards the top edge for added safety. My son loves climbing up inside of it so he can see everything from a better point of view. It was totally worth the money! If I had to make one of these, it probably would have cost me more due to time and materials.

Tip for installation: Press the washer into each hole prior to adding the bolts so you don't over tighten and loosen the anchor inside the wood. I took the head of the bolt and placed it over the washer and gently tapped the other end with a hammer (you can use a blunt object as well) to set the washers in place. This ensures there isn't added resistance when tightening the bolts. Also, don't wrench too hard on the bolts. It doesn't need much.

Once my daughter realized what it was for she climbs on it all the time now. She does a lot with it like brushing her teeth, washing her hands, putting dishes away, helping cook, uses the steps to set her toys out water on (always clear the steps when they aren't looking), and of course just to peek above the counter tops if she is nosey. The back safety bar seems annoying but every kid leans back at least once. This thing is very sturdy, it was easy to put together and as long as you can lift the weight of it, it's easy to maneuver. If it wasn't this heavy it wouldn't be as study. I feel very safe using it every day after my daughter got used to climbing in and out of it. Teach your kids how to crawl into it and out. Don't let them try to make it a swing or slide.

We got this for our 10 month old to let him participate in our kitchen activities. We use it multiple times every day and love it!

It's high quality material, looks great, and comes with a great "extra" of non-slip sticker strips for the steps. It's great for out small city kitchen because it has a very compact footprint compared to other towers. We put felt stickers on the bottom (our own) and it became really easy to slide wherever we want it in the kitchen or bathroom. Our kiddo was moving it into position himself by 11 months (though not getting in on his own yet).

I will say that 10 months may be a little young for it. We had one incident where kiddo bent down while in it, lost his balance and kind of tumbled out of it. It happened so fast that we didn't catch him. He was totally fine (more scared than hurt), but it did get us to be a bit more vigilant with it. Unless he's standing up straight and hanging on to the railing, we remove him from it.

My husband was impressed with the quality of the stool as well as the clear directions for assembly. My granddaughter is just 18 months and is so excited to be able to “help” in the kitchen. She figured out immediately how to maneuver her way on to it and I love that she feels secure using it. We have washed many blueberries and blackberries together as well as just playing happily in the water. The stool was used for her first attempt at finger painting and it was a complete success for everyone. I took my time before making a purchase and while there are more expensive choices, I am pretty sure the quality of this product is more than competitive.

My kid is a climber and always wants to 'help'

So this was a great alternative to the step stool that we were using to let him help in the kitchen and other areas of the house. It is also light enough for him to push over to the counter (we added felt pads to the bottom) by himself. He uses this thing every day and it is in great shape. It is also very easy to assemble and clean when he gets it sticky, as most toddlers will.

My son is about 32" tall at the moment and it has suited him well as he has grown into it from about 29" or so. He still has plenty of room to grow and be able to use this. I love the safety bar in the back as well!

There are so many toddler towers listed on Amazon, and I'm glad that I chose this one. The item was well packaged and well-made. When I unwrapped the plastic sheet of individual parts, there was a chemical smell coming out, but it was soon dissipated and couldn't be detected on the product. The finish is smooth and the corners rounded. It's fairly easy to follow the instructions, and the assembled product is quite sturdy. There is a trick to push the wash in the pre-drilled holes - rough side facing out. Another thing worth mentioning is that this seller was prompt to respond and to resolve our issues (one of the wooden parts is chipped at the edge, and a couple of pieces have blackened patches). Our toddler loves the tower and wants to stand in there by the countertop all the time. I recommend this product and this seller.

Pro - at half the price of brand name models, this was a STEAL of a deal for easy wipe clean, great functionality, light weight, small footprint in kitchen, stool.
Con - assembled (easily) following directions, everything fit and it seemed leveled and I tightened everything up. 3 days later one corner was lower than the others and it wobbled a little to that low side. FIX - I used the included antislip feet pads (all 4 of them stuck to each other) on the one wobbly corner and haven't had an issue (or wobble) since! Would still recommend as I have a $180 hand crafted version of this, that is sturdier but was so much more. If on a budget for a montessori helper tower, this works great for our 18-23 month old!

It's a game-changer if you do a lot of cooking, dishes, etc. in the kitchen and your kiddo wants to be where the action is. Opening the box, everything was packed very nice and neat. Everything was very secure without being crammed in there. The instructions are very clear and make it easy to assemble. The slip prevention for the bottom of the stand is super effective and are secure. The structure in total is very sturdy. After assembling it, I bounced my fist of the inside bars support for the child and the unit had very little tilt for the amount I was hitting it. Nothing had come loose and there was no worrisome cracks from the wood. The anti slip strips for the step and top are great quality and won’t come off easily. I would 100% recommend this to anyone considering getting this for their little ones.
