We recently moved across country. A 3000 mile, six day drive. Of course our cat came with us!! He HATES the car, so after a bit of research, we came across this. I am SO happy we bought it. It had plenty of room for a litterbox, while also leaving enough room for him to comfortably lay down and sleep. We didn't have to give him the sedatives the vet prescribed at all. We did have to buy a smaller, disposable litterbox, as it would not fit his normal one with a raised back, but after having him use that box for a few weeks before we moved, he used it just fine in the carrier.

I seriously CANNOT recommend this enough for traveling with small pets!! 10/10

Nice for moving cats across the country

This fit across the back of my back seat with room to spare. I moved my two chonky cats 900 miles and they were fine in this with a small litter box and their blankets.
There is no insert to make a rigid floor - it is made to be sit on the floor or seat of a car. I used their carrier to get them to the car and emptied them into this kennel which was already set up in my car. Do not try and move this with your pets in it - the floor will probably rip at the seams.
It spirals down to store flat - but it took me some doing to get it all in to latch flat. No problem though - just a few minutes of fiddling with it.
Overall, I’m very pleased with this kennel. It did exactly what it said it would and I have zero complaints.

OK for a trip but maybe not for active, young or multiple cats

I purchased this for a kitty being transported in my car on a 12 hour trip. It is quite roomy, place for a small liter box and cups of food and water. It is pretty soft and flexible, however and might possibly not hold up if the occupants are intent on escaping. My 14 year old cat immediately opened the zipper front and got out. I found the zipper ends simply slide up and open with just a little pressure, so I tied them closed. I put the carrier in the back seat of my older Honda Accord on top of a quilt and it fit fine, not blocking my back window view. But I think now that it would be better to place it over a hard surface like a board, so the cat feels a little more stable and will want to stand and walk. Mine just curled up and slept most of the ride, never using the box or even eating or drinking. Be sure to measure your space, because this carrier is huge! Otherwise, I have no complaints or issues as it worked very well for my purposes.

This is one of the few rectangular portable kennels that I could find on Amazon for an affordable price. I liked that it comes with a carry bag, and is a good size for most animals. What I don't like is that the zippers do open on their own as I had a cat escape by pressing its paw against them and it opened enough for it to get out and run away. The material isn't durable against cat's claws either as it easily tore through the sides. If you have calm animals, then this is a good choice, otherwise you need to make sure to use a twist tie on the zippers to keep them from opening.

We had our two cats in it together and they had more than enough room. One is 19 lbs. and one is 13. They could walk around if they wanted to. Being together made the ride easier. They were very relaxed happy . We will use this on our new porch because it isn’t screened in.

Perfect for Long Road Trip

I purchased this to move my dad's two cats from Las Vegas to Florida via car. It gave them lots of space for the trip, as well as lots of air, and ability to see what was around them. It also folds up very nicely. Having hard doors also helped to facilitate easy removal of the cats when we stopped for the night at a hotel. A few times we actually took the whole thing in on a bell cart. Being squishable at the ends was nice then because I could make it fit on a cart entirely. I also liked knowing that the kennel was seatbelted in and I didn't need to worry about a quick stop dumping the kitties in the floor, or them moving around would wiggle the kennel off the seat. Overall, it was a great purchase and was priced much better than the competition. As a Floridian, I will be purchasing more of these for hurricane season. It would be very easy to transition from travel to sheltering solution.

So far, I’m really impressed. I just received this today in the mail and it’s a great size. It comes packed up like a small pop-up and it opens into a huge tent. My two cats are travelling with me in the car when I relocate to the other side of the country in a few weeks and they will have plenty of room to huddle/cuddle/horse around. If I change my mind as it gets used, I’ll edit my review but so far, five stars!!

Okay, so edit time: I’m more than halfway through my trip and today I finally gave up on this thing and gave the cats free roam. I was constantly having to pull over because my more fussy cat was constantly collapsing it as there is no way to tie the top of the tent to the headrests. He was pretty tough on it and ripped the seam along the zipper as well. The removable liner on the bottom is a good idea but without some kind of way to anchor it, it was just sliding all over the place with the cats in it so I had already taken it out yesterday. It might be better for kittens or an older dog but for a long travel time, I don’t recommend it. We are doing a 12-day trip with five more to go.

Apenas llevo unas horas con el producto y superó mis espectatuvas.

La tela se siente resistente incluso ya aguantó algunos arañazos (ojo, mi gatita no tiene las garras tan filosas porque le gusta escalar un muro de concreto), plegada es muy portable casi como llevar una laptop mediana de 14 pulgadas y no pesa casi nada. Desplegada es bastante grande, más de lo que esperaba, mi gato tiene tanto espacio que ni completamente estirada llega al largo de la casa (ojo 2, mi gata es adulta pero pequeña de tamaño, como del tamaño de un Pug).

Apenas la abrí mi gatita se metió para curiosear y se llevó uno de sus peluches, ni siquiera tuve que usar catnip ni motivarla a entrar aún que es muuuuuy tímida

Me gustó el tamaño, el color y la sencillez para abrirlo y guardarlo. No considero que sea para transportar a tu mascota en coche pues es de un material suave y si hubiera un choque, es muerte segura. Para tenerlo en casa y que sea su zona segura para dormir queda perfecto ya que lo puedes guardar todas las mañanas si así lo deseas o bien si vas de visita o viaje, puedes asegurar que tu mascota está "contenida" en la noche y transportar su casita sin problema alguno de espacio. El problema que presento en las fotos es referente al zipper que vení muy tenso, situación que hacia difícil el abrir y cerrar las puertas. Se dañó (creo que el perro lo mordió la vdd), y los cambié por unos zippers más resistentes y pidiendo al que lo puso que no lo dejara tan tenso como venían originalmente porquw sentía que se rompería en algún momento la tela donde estaba la costura al zipper. Fuera de ese detalle, sí la recomiendo. Yo estoy feliz con el producto aunque sí me parece importante aclarar que lo llevé a cambiar los zippers... para que lo consideren.

I used this carrier to move my cats across the country over a two day drive. It's roomy, it fit in my back seat well enough and my two cats were able to be inside without being on top of each other. However, on the second day, they figured out how to push on the zipper so the doors would open. We had to get creative and clip the two zipper pulls together to keep them from escaping.
