I think my cockatiel is going to love her new cage! The other reviews are correct in saying that the directions suck. They are written in English, but by someone from another planet.
It might be possible to put this together by yourself, but it was definitely helpful to have a second person. Once you figure out where everything goes (no thanks to the directions), it’s actually fairly easy to put together. The only hard part was putting the wheels on the bottom at the end. Some of the pieces were sharp, but the sharp parts seem to get hidden once you get the thing put together.
Note: this cage doesn’t have storage at the bottom, and it is taller than it is wide.
The only potential problem I see with the cage itself is that the food doors don’t stay closed very well. I think I will put little padlocks on them to keep my students from opening them. The lock in the front seems sturdy, but the screws attaching it to the door stick out in the back—only a problem if you have curious children who might stick their fingers in there.
I think it will last a long time. The only part that doesn’t seem very sturdy is the seed skirt, which doesn’t seem like it can take much pressure put on it.
I think I will change out the perch for several smaller perches, since the one included is pretty thick.
All in all, I think this is a great cage for the price, and my cockatiel will have plenty of room to move around and play. I’m adding a photo, because I feel like that would have helped with my decision when I was purchasing the cage. I am 5’3” for reference.

Also putting this thing together wasn’t hard but the directions were absolutely terrible! I looked for YouTube directions and found one for a similar cage. That’s when I realized we purchased a cheap, worse version of a nicer cage.
Too dangerous for small birds. Too small for big birds.

Dangerous cage for smaller birds. Parakeets and cockatiels and other small to medium size birds need bar spacing of 1/2inch which this cage advertises. After we put it together I noticed there are several bars with spacing greater than 1/2 inch. Some spaces were 1 inch. I didn’t even attempt to put a bird in this cage for fear of it getting it’s head stuck. There was a weird 1” space above the food and water bowls. I probably could have blocked this space off but then I measured other bar spacing and decided this cage is just too dangerous to even try to fix. We also chose it due to the seed guard but there is a space around the guard enough for my fingers to fit through. so the seeds won’t funnel into the cage like they’re meant to. They’ll just fall on to the floor. This seems rather pointless. The edges of the seed guard are not nice and rounded as pictured, they were rather pointy so I could imagine my family hitting their legs off of it. Overall, there was too much potential for my bird to get hurt and I don’t want to take the chance so we will be returning it.Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2020

!! IMPORTANT !!
The small cage I bought was very nice and it was perfect for my sun conure. It was well put together although the instructions are not easy to understand when it comes to what screws to use because it gives you several screw sizes but no instructions as to what one to use where.
Okay other than the bad information when it comes to screw the problem I have with my large bird cage is that it is very flimsy and I was worried that my bird would snap the bars because the were easily bendable with my fingers; However, my bird hasn’t broken it although I’m worried he will.
The cages are a good size for my birds and I do recommend the smaller one!
