Purchased on 07/22/2018. Recv'd on 07/24/2018. Returned defective 07/26/2017
TV worked for 48 hours. Upon turning unit, on 07/26 I had only a black screen and full audio. I followed all the FAQ instructions to no avail. I call customer support at Sceptre and recv'd so little help it was appalling. After repeating the FAQ suggestions, we moved onto other basic tech suggestions (move power to wall vs power strip). After repeatedly doing this the Tech Support CS rep stated that the TV was fine and that the LED panel was defective. He then unenthusiastically stated I needed to contact the retailer (Amazon for this item). There was nothing further that he could do.
Understanding that this is a bottom of tier TV Brand and price point, I was hopeful that It would at least be decent after comparing like models etc. I would have been better going with a ROKU based TCL and a tad bit higher price point. Sometimes "Brand Names" do matter.
Avoid this if at all possible.
