I feel so much better eating gluten free, and have searched for a delicious gluten free pasta brand. After having tried MANY I learned that the Bonta-Italia brand offered by Schar is excellent. It contains corn, but doesn't TASTE like corn when you eat it or smell like corn, like so many gluten free pastas do. I have tried the spaghetti and loved it, and the Fusilli is outstanding as well. I can have a pasta salad again this summer! I recommend this brand highly for those on a gluten free diet, or not.

I have tried every GF pasta out there, and the Schar brand pastas are really wonderful.No gummy, flavorless noodles here. I used to serve regular noodles to my family and skip the pasta altogether for myself because I just couldn't find anything that was worth how expensive GF pasta is. Now I use Schar noodles in everything, including dinner for my family with no complaints from anyone. They are just that good! Buying them in bulk packs on Amazon is the most economical way way to go and ensures a good selection since most grocery stores only carry one or two varieties. Schar Tagliatelle noodles are amazing in chicken noodles soup too.

My best friend has gone gluten free so I wanted to try out some things for him and my mom who is doing a special diet. I'd read that so many of these pastas don't hold up right or get sticky per my research. The reviews on this were so good, I was excited to try it. Everyone is right. I haven't tried other brands, so I can only speak for this one. My end result was a little on the undercooked side, but that was me, and it was still really, really good. The other test was how it held up to reheating it. YUMMMMMMMM The pasta held the sauce so well. It looked mushy on the reheat, but didn't taste mushy.

I originally bought this because I was craving pasta salad, but was then disappointed.

While these cook up very nicely and taste much like wheat-based pasta, they do not stay soft when cold. I tried them again later, hot with marinara sauce and they were just fine. Even re-heated leftovers were okay. But if you are looking for a product to use in a chilled pasta dish, these harden and are almost crunchy in texture.

While they didn't work for my original purposes, it is still a very good product and excellent replacement for people on a gluten-free diet.

So. Gluten free pasta. If you’ve tried it you know it’s not like the other pasta. But out of the other brands I’ve tried, this is the best! Watch the cooking time - undercook and it taste nasty bu overcook and it just falls apart. So it needs “babysitting” or “pasta sitting” if you prefer

this is my favortie tasting gluten free pasta, however it says may contain soy...would give this 5 stars if they swapped out the vegetable oil for a better quality oil. The texture of the cooked pasta is great, and goes well with sauces. You can barely tell it's gluten-free!
