I just had to send a note to express my disappointment with your 66 Loads of Easy Dos Laundry Soap. The bottle touts 66 loads from the smaller plastic bottle. However, as I used the auto dose technology, I noted that the bottle contained MUCH less than 66 loads. As you can see from the pictures below, I am lucky if the auto dose technology gave me 26 loads. I marked the bottle after each squirt/load. Although I like the product inside, this is false advertising and Seventh Generation should make a change to its labeling. This bottle DOES NOT provide 66 loads for my HE washing machine.

This was a new scent so it was presented somewhat cheaper than the other 7thGens. I have found my new scent! It's tropical. I wanted to find a detergent that wasn't full of harsh chemicals to wash mine and my daughter's nice white clothes in. I wasn't sure how to measure because it has a flip top. I turned it upside down and squeezed and just about a few capfuls disbursed. I thought okay that may not be enough for a medium size load of our clothes. Well let me tell you, I was not only surprised, I was very pleased! The clothes came out clean and smelling fresh! I've actually used it on my towels and sheets with the same nice results. When they came out of the dryer and off the line they smelled so fresh and clean-all with just a tiny squeeze of this bottle. It will last me awhile. I have a family of 4 so I do laundry basically everyday. I also used it in my husband's work clothes, same thing!! I'm very happy with this and I will be purchasing it again. I've used RebelGreen, Mrs. Myers neither cleans and removes smells and stains like this!! I'm hooked. Doing laundry for 5 people everyday is no small task as you may well know. I use two pumps for the extra large loads and one for the small, it does the job well! I feel good knowing I'm saving my planet, not paying for extra water weight, washing my family's clothes without the harmful chemicals that they normally put in laundry detergent to only make your clothes look clean not actually make them clean. There's not a lot of sudsing up, you don't need to make them clean. The bubbles are a sign of all those extra chemicals that you don't need that are going into the septic, the groundwater, into your body and back into the world. Also thosechemicals have like a waxy sheen to them which makes clothes appear clean when they're actually not - it's a facade. Don't be fooled about what you see or hear only believe what comes out of your dryer and on to your body! This is definitely my new go-to laundry detergent I even got it on sale that day. I'll be looking for it again trust me.

After reading some negative reviews, I still took a chance and bought the lavender scent. My family has horrible eczema and psoriasis, so we are very sensitive when it comes to anything with fragrance. This did not affect us negatively, plus it smells great! Doesn’t leave the clothes smelling strongly but that is what I wanted. I also use Seventh Generation lavender dryer sheets so that helps the clothes to still have a light scent but not too overpowering. Also, I read on some reviews about the ease of measuring. Some reviewers said that it was not easy and poured out too fast and wasted a lot of the product. So I want to say that this was not the case for me. If you pour it correctly by opening the lid first before tipping the bottle upside down, it pours perfectly with a simi-firm squeeze. For large loads, I use two squeezes. The price is great for the amount and since it is super concentrated, it last a while. Hope this helps you to make a purchase decision.

I love this newer scent! I’m a Seventh Generation fan and this product does not disappoint. I was skeptical of the tropical scent at first, but it is very pleasant. The scent is not super strong, but enough to leave your clothing smelling great. Cleans great and seems to get stains out. I also like the fact that the product is ultra concentrated therefore, using less plastic for a smaller bottle. The smaller bottle also takes up less space in my laundry room. The one squeeze and you’re done cap is wonderful. There is no measuring or messy caps to deal with. I will definitely continue to buy.

Absolutely awful bottle/dispenser. I've taken to using more eco-friendly products over the last year and order frequently from Grove.co. Amazon had a better price and faster shipping when I came across this detergent and I was eager to try it. Now, I'm no nonsense when it comes to my products. If it doesn't work or is too much of a hassle, I'm done. So imagine my disappointment when I tried this "easy dose" dispenser and it just leaked everywhere. I tried a full 180° rotation, one squeeze and the bottle just continued to drip and drip...Not only that but this detergent along with a lot of Seventh Generation detergents have earned a very low ratings on EWG. Basically, they're not much better than using Tide. This is a no for me.

*****EDIT**** I played around with this bottle and figured out the dispenser. The directions are definitely lacking but if you turn the bottle completely upside down and immediately squeeze, it will stop. And, it will dispense just a tablespoon or so of detergent. It cleaned pretty well and removed stinky odors and light stains. I actually like it.

*****UPDATE TO MY UPDATE***** I've been using this detergent for almost two weeks and I've noticed that I'm already halfway done with the bottle 😒 I did a little experiment with a measuring spoon. Each squeeze yields an almost perfect tablespoon of detergent. If you do the math on the size of this bottle, you actually only get 47 loads MAX. If you have smaller loads you waste because you can't put less. If you have very large loads you have to use two squeezes. This bottle is definitely only going to last through around 30-35 loads tops. Which makes it extremely expensive!

It’s hard to believe that you need so little detergent to do such a great job of cleaning your laundry, but this product proves how much extra packaging most laundry detergents waste. They should all be this super-concentrated! The bottle dispenses just the right amount with one squeeze. It has no artificial colours or fragrances, and is safe for sensitive skin. It does a great job of cleaning, and leaves my laundry smelling fresh and soft. I only use cold water and have noticed no difference in cleaning power. It is low sudsing, which makes it excellent for use in high-efficiency, side-loading machines. All this, and the reduced packaging is better for the environment. Win-win-win all around!

Great for highly sensitive skin

I have a very hard time finding products that don't irritate my skin. I can't use any fragrance and there can't be harsh chemicals or my skin gets really itchy. This product doesn't irritate my skin at all, yet it works well enough to take dirt and smell out of my clothes. I work with dogs so my clothes are really stinky, using other detergents I could still smell it after washing. This stuff cleans the clothes properly and doesn't leave clothes smelling like they're still dirty, which is hard to find in a gentle, scent free detergent! Highly recommend to anyone suffering with sensitive skin, and a bonus that it's cost efficient compared to other sensitive skins products.

First of all, the cap was leaking on arrival, already a horrible start. But since it wasn't that bad and I was too lazy so I decided to give it a try anyway. Pros are that it's scent-free and really helps with sensitivities. But the cons are that it does not clean even if I put more than it tells me to, the articles are still dirty with maybe only a slight improvement. What's the point of getting it if it doesn't get the item cleaned. Not to say it comes with such a small bottle. Because it's so hard to use, I've finally used it up after a year, but I had to mix it with another detergent to get things fully cleaned.

Con: I usually buy in the store but it was on sale so I bought on Amazon. It came leaking all in the individual bags it came in FULL OF SOAP so much that it leaked from the bag into the box. When I opened it. The kids were half twisted off. My advice would be to tighten the lids before you bag them. Some leakage to be expected but this much we’re talking half bottles gone.

I loved the smell while it was washing, but once it came out from drying it smelled a little too Earthy for my liking (smells like dirt). I am happy that my laundry came out without the residue feeling that other products can leave on my clothes. Overall happy with it but will try another scent next time.
