The back battery covering kept sliding off the back of my remote. This cover fixed the issue. We not thing we s the buttons are pretty flush with the silicon so you have to relearn the buttons. I find this a good product and solved a problem I had.

Update: I love it so much I bought these for the rest of my fire stick remote in my house. While it is sort of thin it still protects the remote. I love them ! I received this product today. It fits like a glove on my fire stick 4K remote. It’s quite thin so I’m not sure how much protection it will offer when it’s dropped but I can see it still providing some cushion. The colour is just like the picture and with it coming in a plastic bag I expected there to be somewhat of a smell but there isn’t. It goes on so easily that it leaves the impression it will come off easily as well but, playing around with it in my hand it doesn’t seem to move. It does level with the buttons so you do have to get used to pressing in a little harder to activate that function. An awesome feature is the colour is so bright that it stands out everywhere now. No more losing it on my black coffee table or in the cushions of my sofa. Overall I’ve only received it today but I am completely happy with my purchase. I have another remote in my bedroom and I’ll be purchasing another one of these sleeves for that one too. I didn’t answer the question about remote control because it’s not a remote control it’s only the sleeve. Totally worth the money!

I really like the color and we both LOVE the feel of it. It has a really nice soft touch feel but not so soft it will break down quickly. I will say I find the strap to be totally unneeded and would have chosen an option without that if available. We are now looking for some for our (Roku) remotes in different colors.

It's a great product. I'm using it on the latest fire stick and it's a perfect fit. For extra protection, I kept the original plastic the fire stick was shipped with and fitted the cover over it.

I reckon dust could eventually gather on the backside mini square patterns [for grip and comfort] but it shouldn't be a problem since the silicone material is washable.
Ideally, the material would be more light-reflective as the purple can look a bit dull in a semi-lighted room but that's just me being fussy and nitpicking xD
