Not worth $20. You saw everything in the trailer.. “Terrifying thriller” is highly incorrect. It’s romance for sure. If you’re living in 2020, this will not faze you at all.

Disappointed

Was really disappointed. The trailer made it look more like a horror movie and instead it was a super cheesy romance story with characters that lacked depth. The whole thing felt very disconnected and didn’t make a lot of sense.

Not Worth the Money

It was less than okay. I thought it was gonna show more about how the country progresses from COVID-19 to COVID-23. It doesn't really show how the city got to it's current state, just places you in the current pandemic with little backstory. The trailer was much better than the movie.
I'm giving it 2 stars because there was pretty good acting and some okay scenes.

Perhaps after you watch everything on Netflix...

There was little to this movie that wasn't in the trailer. Everyone did their job well, it was just a very thin and predictable plot with little development. I was more interested in the sideplots than the main characters-I'd suggest you send the $20 to your local foodbank!

This movie has a very good message, though I think it could have been conveyed in a slightly less aggressive way (as in, the movie is very intense at many points). The acting from everyone was very good, the writing was mostly all right. One of the characters I didn't quite understand the need for, but I appreciated all the different perspectives, showing how multiple parties are dealing with or affected by their pandemic.

It was also interesting to see an "alternate" universe in which we have certain technology that detects your viral profile, and UV-scanning dropboxes. Obviously it's not that far from reality, and I would be not surprised at all if it came to that point eventually, but it was interesting to see that. There was a good mix of things that are happening now in our time, and things that are more fantastical but still grounded in reality.

Sofia Carson was the reason I watched the film. I look up to and respect her so much, and she was great in this movie.

I feel like a lot of negativity is being leveled against the film for its seeming cash-in on the pandemic, something that is still going on. An example of Hollywood not knowing when something is too soon to make a movie about, etc. I can see why that would be a concern, but if it is something that has a very optimistic and positive message, something that can comfort us during our own pandemic, I welcome something like that. And this movie has exactly that.

It is not the best movie I've seen, not even the best of 2020. But I really enjoyed it. Recommended :)

This movie doesn’t live up to the hype that preceded it.

Not that good of a movie...
