Tahini Pesto Pasta
- 16 oz pasta of choice
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- Juice from ½ lemon
- 2 Tbsp Soom Premium Tahini
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese
- 1 cup basil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 6 grape tomatoes, sliced
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt. Cook pasta until al dente. Rinse with cold water and set aside.
- In a food processor, mix olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice. Then mix in tahini, parmesan cheese, and basil then blend. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour pesto over pasta and mix thoroughly. Add sliced grape tomatoes. Top with extra cheese for garnish. Add any protein, if desired.

Good Taste but Packaging/Shipment is a mess

I will start by saying this is the smoothest Tahini I have ever tried. It has a really good tasts and I have enjoyed it s much that I added it to my monthly subscriptions. However, I did just cancel, since I realized there isn't a return option for this product. I just received this package of 2, one was fine but the other leaked. I can't see any blatant rips or holes, however the oil has clearly leaked out which makes me nervous about using since I am not sure how long the jar has been exposed to air. For $12+ per jar, I can't continue to purchase through amazon. If I see at the store, I would have no issues buying again. Lastly, this tahini is best suited for sauces or recipes. It is a bit thin to use on toast although I have. :)
