“Help wanted” episode not includedIt’s the first episode of the entire series and for some reason it is not included in this set. Very disappointed as it’s my daughters favorite episode and the only reason I bought this. I guess I should have done my research but I just assumed it would be on “the COMPLETE first season”... oh well, live and learn.

No pilot epi, long intros on disc start, great classic episodesThis dvd set does not have the pilot episode (where spongebob gets the job at the krusty krab) due to a copywrite issue.
Each DVD has a long intro presenting the characters, I am using a very simple dvd player and I'm not able to skip it. So I can't speak for all if I say it is not able to be skipped.
This season has the classic and hilarious episodes that anybody can enjoy.

Who doesn't love spongebob? Losers! That's who.This show is amazing to me! I've watched since I was a kid. All ages still love this show. It's incredible how the writers come up with so many ideas and every episode is so good! Spongebob is a fantastic show I would recommend to anyone. I give this 5 stars and I don't take that lightly. I'm an aspiring filmmaker and I only give 5 stars to what I think is really good entertainment that I have nothing negative to say about. I thank amazon video for having this available!

Who Lives in a Pineapple Under the Sea?SpongeBob SquarePants, that's who!
This DVD collection of the first season offers a ton of great laughs and cartoon hijinx. There are several episodes here that I haven't gotten to see in years, and it was a real treat to see them again.
My one criticism of this collection would be that - due to music licensing stuff - the very first episode "Help Wanted" is, sadly, not on this DVD set, but still, with all the other great episodes of classic SpongeBob, there's still so many things to enjoy that I can't really be too down about it.
