Purchased a used Epson POS printer off Amazon and Allstate Protection Plan. Item is not under manufactures warranty, however, Allstate claims it is. There is NO WAY to reach anyone associated with Allstate Protection Plan. Complete waste of money.

I have never before purchased insurance for office equipment but am so glad I did in this instance. I was expecting to be reimbursed for my broken printer but, instead, ended up with a repaired one that works as good as new. The repair person was so very kind and obviously very smart. Now, I don't have to purchase a new printer, nor do without one any longer. This was certainly a win/win situation for me.

Absolutely the biggest waste of money. I purchased this warranty for a Lexmark printer. The printer never once worked properly after being set up, as it continually printed blue dots down the center of every page. I contacted Lexmark and was told I needed to go through the warranty people. So I did. Multiple emails and phone calls later, I finally got a response. I sent the documentation that was requested for the printer and the test sheets that were asked for. Never heard back. Emailed and called, again. And again, weeks later after hearing no response. I was told they were still looking into it. Several more weeks went by, and I sent another email and made another phone call. Nobody answers the phone calls, and when I got replies to my emails they were vague and didn't give definitive answers to my question(s). FINALLY (Months later), I was told that they were sending me a part in the mail that should fix the issue. I never received the so-called part, and my subsequent emails (3 in total) were ignored and I never received a reply. So I basically spent $250 on a printer and the money on this warranty in order to never be able to use it. What a mistake.
