I used 750ml of organic apple juice to make hard cider and amped up the sugar content to as much as could be dissolved. One week later after all activity stopped I drank it all. I got trashed. I'm a good drinker (high tolerance) and normally it would take a bottle and a half of at least 14% wine to get me there, so I'm calling it a success.

Taste? Not bad, not sure I remember!

Why this kind of review? It's called honesty and real-world results.

Lastly? It's a bargain! 40% more buzz for half the cost of retail so what more do you want?

I'd never used this type of yeast before now. It works great for pear wine and hard ciders, even some beers. I used it in a low ABV pale SMASH ale with Wai-iti hops. It gave it a nice crisp finish without that bread-y aftertaste. Will definitely buy it again.
