I have been searching endlessly for tasty rock sugar ever since my beloved Teavana closed. I thought I'd never find rock sugar as awesome as theirs. I did buy a few Teavana rock sugar bags on here as I had bought a 3lb rock sugar jar at one point when Teavana was still open. However, the amount of Teavana Perfect Tea rock sugar was quickly going down and I knew I needed to find a replacement and fast. I love tea both hot and iced, and I love brewing my own tea from loose leaf tea. I was desperately searching for sugar to fill my jar, and came across your brand that said it was Teavana style. You guys got a good rating from fellow Amazon customers so I figured I'd give you guys a try. Had a cup of white tea earlier with the sugar I received from you, and your sugar exceeds expectations above and beyond!! It is indeed the same Teavana style taste and style that I love (and miss) so very much. I'm so glad I came across your sugar! I couldn't be any happier! This needs to be added to Subscribe and Save!!! I'm constantly running out of sugar for tea and rock sugar is the only sugar I use. It would be such a big help!!

This pure beet sugar has a lovely subtle taste. Not sugary, not saccharine-like, but natural and perfect. I have been putting a few of the sugar crystals in my morning latte at home. The pebble shaped crystals are not all the same size, but they melt into my coffee latte in short order. The little rocks of sugar are brownish, auburnish, and some almost clear. If you didn't know it was sugar, you might think you had beautiful quartz crystals in the bag. I am very happy with this new condiment and will be serving it at my dinner table to place in after-dinner coffee & teas. No doubt I will be ordering again.

This sugar has been a fantastic replacement, and seems to be the same taste and quality as Teavana's. I love this type of sugar for tea! It’s the perfect sweetener without changing the flavor of your tea. It also slightly changes the texture of the tea to be more of a smoother texture than simply drinking “flavored water”. Honestly I love this sugar so much that I use it for my hot coffee and sometimes as a substitute for normal white sugar used in cooking some of my meals that require a bit of sugar. It’s a great product! Overall, I highly recommend this!

I’m so relieved that I found Spice Lab after the Teavana stores closed. I love this product. I have been using it for years. I enjoy it in my coffee and to sweeten my iced tea. It doesn’t make the drink so sweet like regular white sugar. The only way I can describe the beet sugar is it enhances the flavor of whatever you’re using it in. You don’t just taste sugar, it’s your usual coffee, tea etc, but better. Seriously, everyone should try beet sugar at least once. That’s what I did and never looked back on sugar or sweeteners w aftertaste. I absolutely despise diet drinks. I’m very sensitive to the taste of artificial sweeteners. I’d rather drink water than to drink anything “diet”....... I love that beet sugar is lower than everything on the glycemic scale..... not that I’m dieting, but rather trying to live without extra calories w/out compromising taste. Thank you. PS: To the people who try to compare beet sugar to forte sugar..... its apples to oranges. The forte sugar is just that “sugar” from sugar cane. Number beet rock sugar is better for you #2 it’s lower on the glycemic index #3 it’s meant to enhance flavor NOT SUGAR COAT AND SWEETEN SO BAD SO YOU CANT EVEN TASTE FLAVOR OF YOUR BEVERAGE. GET INFORMED B4 COMPARING AND POSTING A NEGATIVE REVIEW ON A PRODUCT YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!!

Real and actual beet sugar - a perfect replacement for teavana sugar lovers.

This is an exact replacement for anyone that bought bulk beet sugar from Teavana. Please take the time and read about the different types of sugars as there is an alternative offered that on the surface looks the same but it’s actually just plain old rock sugar with caramel coloring. I’ve posted two pictures showing the two brands (teavana and this brand) side by side and in the same jar together. Taste, texture, color and quality are all the same. Price point is perfect too. A 2lb bag fills the large jar a little over half way. I’m happy to be able to enjoy my tea lightly sweetened again.
