Great for young super readers

Excellent educational program. Our 2yr old loves the show. It teaches letter reconnection, letter sounds, reading, and comprehension. Our LO repeats the words, letters n songs. The program has a group of characters (girls, boys , and a dog) called super readeds who search for super letters in a story to answer a question or to change a story that doesn't make sense into a logical story. Our LO likes to say "Super why the power to read" and "the power to change the story". Everday he is getting more n more excited about reading.

This show is amazing. My son is 2

This show is amazing. My son is 2.5 and begs to watch. Each episode is based on a classic fairy tale, fable or other tale with a moral lesson at the end. But it doesn't only help enforce good morals, it also teaches kids to solve problems, work together, learn the alphabet, spell words and learn the meanings of words. It's amazing for any early reader or pre-reader. I also don't feel like I was just on a roller coaster when it's over like many other kids' shows these days. It's engaging without being crazy. It is super colorful and there aren't any real people in the show but overall the value is high and the show is fun to watch. Of course, the value is only truly cemented when you watch with your kids and talk to them about what's happening and why. You can't expect the TV to do your job for you...

Great Series for Kids - Don't feel guilty if they want tv time!

I love the Super Why series. I love that my kids can watch tv and learn - makes me feel a lot less guilty when I just need some time to relax. The kids love this and interact with the show. When the show ask them for the name my kids will shout the name. When the show ask them to sing the alphabet they sing with Pig. They love spotting the super letters.

My son loves all of the Super Why episodes. It's nice to let him watch these shows because he is learning. He is now able to name all of his letters, sing the ABCs along with "Alpha Pig", and is able to make the correct sounds when needed.

My son loves it and I like that it helps reinforce the alphabet

My son loves it and I like that it helps reinforce the alphabet. The only thing I don't like is how they take liberty in changing some of the fairy tales to fit into the show.
