Tacoma FD's newest chief, Terry McConky, is under scrutiny by the city council to get serious about his station's ratings. Meanwhile, Terry's crew puts his job in jeopardy by engaging in a ridiculous competition for a super sawft prize.
Andy and Ike's misstep on a call to a Tacoma police officer's house fans the flames of the FD's long-standing feud with the PD. Chief tries to keep a lid on the dispute, but all goes awry as his crew wages a tit-for-tat war with the cops.
The crew is assigned its first-ever female firefighter, Lucy, sending the firehouse into a gender-confused tailspin. Then, when Chief clamps down on rookie hazing, the guys do it anyway only to find that Lucy is a force to be reckoned with.
The Tacoma FD's negligence during a firehouse school trip makes Councilwoman Price so angry that she orders the guys to complete a training recertification with an old nemesis who's just itching to the fail them.
Andy's big welcome from a different team of firefighters has him questioning his place within his own crew. Meanwhile, Eddie spars with a new top chef at the station to win the annual pancake cook-off!
Eddie runs into his cradle-robbing first love and must decide whether to rekindle his romance with the sexy senior citizen. Then, Granny and Lucy compete to win the affections of an androgynous dispatcher and Terry discovers moisturizer.
When the police captain catches Eddie sleeping with his wife days before the Tacoma FD/PD charity boxing match, he challenges Eddie to be the main event. Eddie takes the challenge but doesn't train, which has the crew fearing a bloodbath!
It's the anniversary of Terry busting a nut to save Eddie's life and the biggest football game of the year! But the party gets interrupted when a fire breaks out at a local weed dispensary - which at least ends the day on a high note!

I'm Burning with Laughter!
OMG, the gang at TFD will keep you in stitches! Seldom does modern TV bring us such realism and emotion. If you could look inside the soul of a firefighter... it would watch like an episode of Tacoma FD. Hassie Harrison leads an ensemble cast as we watch her face the challenges of being a female firefighter in a male dominate profession. This show will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you think.

such high hopes...
EDIT 4/15/2020: Alright, maybe it's the heavy day drinking or the Quarancation, but this show grew on me by s1e5 during the intro with the cup checks. My Shepsky is mildly entertained as well, but would like to see a female dalmatian in the next season. Where is Ramathorn?
EDIT EDIT 4/15/2020 (later that same day...) My Shepsky asked me to clarify that it needs to be a "hot" female dalmatian. He's a bit high maintenance and sexist...sorry...
4/14/2020: feels like a very soft landing. I truly wanted to like this show.

Hilarious ensemble cast, ridiculous funny quips. Great stuff.
I’ve loved these guys since Super Troopers. And their latest project is even more hilarious! The two main guys have further sharpened their comical craft, and they’ve got a new crew of comic actors that knock it out of the park. Laugh out loud funny, and easily rewatchable.
They’ve let a little of the PC police get to them, but they’re having fun with it making great jokes. Very funny. If you liked super troopers, you should watch it. Great show, looking forward to season two.

It's Broken Lizard.
Seriously, that's all that needs to be said. Either you love their stuff or you hate it, either way it's exactly what you expect from them.
A Broken Lizard production? Maybe. But these merry pranksters are savvy together each time they do a project. Developing TV shows is a great advancement in their professionalism, and it works as well as Super Troopers, but with 10 episodes.
