Unit is of good quality, and performs well. The wireless range is a little short. Mouse is not standard size, it's small but this makes it easier to pack around. 10-key is of average size, but a little small if you want to do true 10-key by touch. Comes with a nifty little cary bag to keep it all organized.

Customer service and product broken!

I'm completely shocked at customer service for TARGUS! They were absolutely horrible! I had bought this product 4 days ago and still could not charge it enough to get it to work for more then 45 minutes. I talked with customer service about the issue and they told me to replace the rechargeable batteries. I told them I just bought the product 4 days ago. They said if you want your product to work buy some new batteries. I ask if they would send me some and they said I would have to buy them. I told them I'll return the product and never buy TARGUS product again. Problem Solved!!!!

The mouse worked fine but the number pad was ridiculously difficult to figure out. I did exactly what the booklet told me too and even took to the internet to get help... nothing worked. Considering the main reason that I got this is because I needed a number pad I am not impressed.

My wife wanted a keypad and mouse for her new laptop - this is fairly simple to install and works well except for the fact that the mouse goes through batteries like water through a sieve. If you get this I suggest using good rechargeable batteries and keeping at least one pair fully charged at all times.

Overall optical response on the mouse is good. However, placing the USB receiver on the other side of my laptop (opposite the mouse) causes decreased functionality to the point of inoperability. The On/off button on the mouse is a little hard to operate (requires a fingernail and some patience). The 10-key pad works well.
