A: 1/3 concentrated means that our powder detergents are now offered in a concentrated formula with outstanding performance at 1/3 less per dose. This allows the same number of loads in a detergent carton that is smaller.
Q: With the move to concentrated powder laundry detergent in cartons, have the formulations changed? How have they changed?
A: Yes, our concentrated powder laundry detergent products were completely reformulated. In fact, in the US, our new concentrated Tide Traditional Top-Loader formulas provide even better stain removal performance than before and our new concentrated Gain formulas offer more freshness than before.
A: Do the concentrated powder detergents do as many loads as before?
Q: Yes. For example, the 80 load carton that is 1/3 concentrated does the same number of loads as the previous 80 load carton of non-concentrated product. The difference is that the new P&G concentrated formula is more efficient, allowing for a smaller package that is both convenient and is a right step for the environment.
Q: What's the difference between Tide Powder and Tide Liquid?

I love Tide, don't get me wrong but Amazons shipping practices have to improve. I have Tide on monthly subscription and only one box has made it our Post Office intact (I use that box to pour all damaged boxes into). The packing party puts it in a big box with a few airbags and it just tumbles around in the box leaving Tide everywhere it goes.This month was EXTRA special...they shipped the Tide with 2 10lb bags of King Arthur flour. The tide managed its way into the flour that were open at the tops and flour bags split down the sides. Amazon you have to do better "(
