Love his shelf

Love his shelf. I replaced the fabric which was very easy to do and now my daughter can easily access all her books. If you want to change out the fabric, it'll take 2 yards.

Toys Bins a GO. Book shelf a NO.

The toy bins are exactly as pictured.
Assembly was super easy and it holds a good amount of toys!
I love that my kiddo can see all of her things and choose easily.

On the other hand, the book shelf organizer wasn’t what I was expecting.
Advertisement makes it look as though they are the same size but they are completely different sizes and color..
I’ve attached some pictures to show the slight difference but it is still noticeable.
The slots are deep and make it very difficult for my two year old toddler to pick out books. And small books won’t be seen from display. I ended up putting smaller books in a small basket on the side to see what that would look like but was disappointed that I couldn’t fit all of them in the organizer.
Was kind of concerned reading other reviews saying it was not returnable but luckily it is now available to be returned.
I’d say the bins are a great buy, but maybe choose a better quality bookshelf, this one is pretty cheep quality for the price.

Good but bad at the same time.

It holds more books than I thought. It is the perfect size for the bedroom. The one bad thing about this product is that it tears easily and the books fall right through. I was able to repair the first tear but the second tear was not fixable. Thankfully I was able to make a all new one using canvas fabric. It now is very strong and matches the nursery decor even better.

We got this last night and my toddler was eager to get it pug together so that’s what we did. First of all, it’s very awkward to put together. Maybe it was just me but I found myself annoyed trying to hold the rod straight while screwing it in. It also came with dents in the rods and chipped wood. Both of these things were a deal breaker for me as I paid $22 for it. I don’t expect amazing quality but don’t ship out something with a piece of the wood missing and is clearly visible. The one pro about it is that it actually holds a decent amount of books.

Nice idea, but too small!

My 3 yr old granddaughters were delighted with this birthday gift. Nice colors for their room. Very nice idea. But the item is actually quite small for the amount of books that small children usually have. Each pocket only holds about the thickness of 3 coloring books. So no way could we begin to fit everything in. We ended up using it JUST for coloring books and left the rest of their story books where they had been. I did put a couple ziplock bags of the pieces to a very large-piece floor-puzzle they have, and a few very thin paperback story books. I felt the pics and description of the item did not do it justice. Just know it is smaller than it appears! But hopefully the thin nylon fabric pockets will hold up for a good amount of time for the price I paid!!

Buy wood, this product reflects its price

This product was okay upon arrival, not greatly made. So far within a week of owning it, my crawling daughter has almost pulled it on herself and my toddler has already ripped one sleeve on this poorly made product while just simply putting the books in and out of it. Next time go with wood.
It hardly holds any books anyway, I just needed as a secondary book shelf. Sadly I dont think I will be able to get my money back.

not good for small board books

This item is as pictured. I would have preferred if they used additional colors, like yellow or purple, rather than having 2 blue slots, 2 pink slots, and one green. It looks weird that way to me. I also wish at least the front pocket were for shorter books. My daughter is 18 months old, and mostly reads board books, because she is a paper-shredding machine. I have a regular bookshelf for her, but as she needs to see more of the book to be interested than the spine, I bought this holder. Yet most of her books disappear in the pockets. This won't happen with bigger books for an older child, but then having them forward facing may not be as important for an older child, either. Also, they really should include white covers for the very visible metal screws on the side. The visible screws make it look cheaply made.

No padding in box

I bought this for my daughters ever growing book collection. It was very easy to assemble. It took me 10 mins to get it up and arange all the books. It's cute, affordable and fits in small spaces. I did not like how there wasnt any padding in the box. It arrived with a chip in the wood. Which is why I didnf give it all 5 stars in all areas.

It is a really nice looking toddlers bookcase but I was disappointed when I received it with damaged corners. It’s made from presswood with some kind of laminate. The white laminate came off like a scab. On the positive side it held a good amount of books of different sizes and is the perfect height for my toddler. I took away two stars for the two chipped corners.

this is all i need for now, but my daughter is 4 months and being a speech therapist, i know how much reading matters. right now i already have more books than this can hold, but its still a great addition to a bedroom. too much pink for boys room (if you care about that stuff) but blue isn't a big deal for a girls room (if that makes sense). Also its great and sturdy but the books don't stand up perfectly straight. they kind of go inwards if they are tall so you can't see the name of them...but overall great buy for the price

Not a good way to store books

There's nothing wrong with this book rack. It performs as it should. But after having it for a year and a half, I can tell you it's not a very effective way of storing kid books. Paper back books get destroyed quickly in here. You really have to organize books to fit more than about 10 in here. Kids can't find what they're looking for so they pull out all the books. You're much better off just buying a bookshelf. We bought one for $60 (same height as this book rack) and it holds over 100 kids books.
