18 Seasons and No Reviews?

Train 48 is very strange. At first I wondered how it was possible that they have 18 seasons and there is not a single review. Isn't that a bit odd? I certainly thought so. Each "show" is a story of the lives of the folks who are riding in a train car. It is set in or near Toronto, and it's a most unique show. The conversations among the passengers is the story line of the show. Each person has a unique "story" to tell, and while they are not always interesting, they are certainly different, from the couple who has a "quickie" (apparently) in the train rest rooom, to the hustler who sells candy for one of the rider's girl guide troupe.

I can't imagine how this possibly lasted for 18 seasons . . . it isn't that interesting! I know I won't be able to watch that many.

A Mellow Feel Good Comedy Drama
Essentially to get into this you have to watch most of Season 1 and get into the spirit of the characters. Essentially the most appealing thing about this is it is realistic, people have conversations about mildly interesting things they have done.

I've only watched season 1 and part of season 2 so far but my main criticism would be that nothing exceptionally exciting happens with the characters' relationships with each other, despite the 'dramas' they have, they almost always seem to make up in the end.

However it is comforting to see this mellow human nature where everyone of different classes and incomes can get along in a sort of feel good film way and that's partially how you have to perceive it to enjoy it.

Importantly the lines in this show are mainly improv apparently.
