I watched all the episodes last night. I actually like Ruthless more than The Oval and Sistahs. This is a powerful series with a lot of life lessons. I once was invited to a church "Woman's Day," which I discovered after two hours was a cult recruitment event for single woman, never married, with no children. I was the perfect age and I had a good job and made good money. I also erroneously thought I was too smart to ever be present at a cult event. I got out without joining that day and told my family, friends, and coworkers. My sister had heard of the cult and I managed to do research on them online after the fact. So, I am glad Tyler Perry is tackling this subject. I hope it enlightens people, especially African Americans who can get tricked into joining a cult. Very realistic and I enjoyed the performances and being introduced to new actors.
