Q1: What can I do if the remote cannot work?

A: Please do the following check.

(1) Before using the remote, please remove the little transparent piece first, which is used to reduce battery consumption during the storage and shipping process, and connect the infrared control cable with the item.

(2) The distance and the angle of the Infrared Control Cable and the remote should be within 16ft, and 45 degrees respectively.

Q2: How can I troubleshoot if I cannot get any signal when using this switch to PS4 Pro/PS5/Xbox to a 4K/60Hz monitor?

A: You can solve this issue via these steps.

(1)Connect the PS4 Pro/Xbox to the TV directly, and manually lower the resolution first. Then connect them to the switch.

(2)Or you can set the HDMI version of your TV as HDMI 1.4. You can also connect the switch to the HDMI 1.4 port of your TV directly without any setting.

Remotely Switch at Your Will

The IR Remote Controller that allows you to switch between 3 HDMI source wirelessly.

There's a manual button on the HDMI Switch BOX for channel switch by press on it.

Note:

Please pull off the plastic clip from the remote controller before using.

Best option for a cheap and effective switcher.

I'd spent about a week trying to find a decent switcher that could work well with my game consoles after seeing that quite a few people had issues with the more popular choices so I settled on this one because of its price and good design. Much to my surprise it worked better than expected. For a Sony Bravia tv, PS4's and PS3's are still linked to the tv through the switch so auto turn on and tv remote functions still work. I don't have a 4k tv so I can't test if it really outputs 4k, but I haven't had any issues with 1080p video and everything runs perfect. Some people claimed in other reviews that this switch does not come with a charger which is completely false. It may just be a USB cable, but for my setup I have it plugged into my tv USB port and it runs fine. My only complaint would be that the IR sensor is a separate piece that plugs into the switch. Overall if you're looking for a cheap switcher and not too worried about future proofing your setup I'd recommend this one.

I have an 1080p plasma tv that I’m just waiting on to kick the bucket before I get a new 4K set. It only has 2 hdmi in the back and one in the front under the screen. I hate using the front port.

I got fed up with constantly switching the cables, so I started searching and came up on this.

I have a Nvidia Shield TV, Samsung blu ray player, and a Roku Ultra (2017) hooked up. All work perfect. I didn’t need to plug in the power cable. It works with out it. I also don’t use the remote. I don’t need it. It’s mostly on the same input.

I didn’t plug in anything in any weird order either, like some people have said you have to do.

I have an Amazon Fire TV gen 2 that I’ve tried with it as well. Also works perfect.

I haven’t tried 4K, but I’m sure it works as great as everyone says it does.

It’s a tremendous deal. It works great, has all the current specs, and looks nice too.

I wish it had another input. Just for the future. But it suits my current needs perfectly.

I had a friend who lacked HDMI inputs for her new BluRay player so I was looking for a KVM-type device to help her out. Enter the HDMI switcher. Nice little device, does its job just as described. Once nice feature is that if you turn on a device connected to it, it automatically switches to that device. There is maybe a second or two delay before it shows up on screen. The box itself is small and unobtrusive.

Includes a 4 button remote (1 for each input plus a button to switch between them), an IR-receiver (with a double-sided sticker to keep it in place), a micro USB cable for power (but no AC adapter). For what it's worth, the setup I used (Sony BluRay player and Apple TV to HDTV) didn't require use of the power adapter at all.

So I have been trying to buy A HDMI Input Cable Switch Box that allows me to connect more than one device to my TV or my Projector. Thanks to UGreen I was able to purchase this HDMI input cable switch box that allows me to connect my PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, XBOX One, Nintendo Switch, Blu Ray player to this box. So you have 1 output HDMI Slot that is used to connect your TV or projector to display that you are playing or watching.

The box also has 3 input HDMI Slots where you can only connect three devices. They have given you a controller and a button on the box that also allows you to switch in-between your HDMI devices.

There is no power cable as you are given a micro usb cable that allows you to connect your HDMI switch box to your Project or TV to get power and turn your box on. Not bad for the price, as this HDMI Switch box does the job and it is a good size and does not take that much room on your desk or table.

So I think if you are looking for some cheap or just to connect your three gaming consoles, then I think you should buy this product as it does the job.

My TV has only one HDMI input which can handle 4k signals, which I had been using for an Amazon Fire box. Having just upgraded to Sky Q, I needed to be able to connect either Sky Q or Amazon Fire to this TV input. The Ugreen HDMI switcher does this job very well, with no adverse effect on the 4k signal quality. The box itself seems well made and does not require an external power supply.

Note, however, that it does not automatically switch to the latest input which becomes active, as stated in the Product Description. It is necessary to press the Select switch on the box itself or use the remote control. For this reason, I have knocked one star off my rating.

Great quality HDMI switch in an attractive case - sometimes these things need to be visible and many of the devices are ugly and poorly laid out.
All the connections are on one side, better than the units which have connectors on all faces.
This unit has an external IR 'eye' with a sticky pad - this is great for people (like me) who want to hide the switch but control it via IR remote.
I'm using this with a Harmony remote, and the Harmony database does contain this device.. just enter the part number from the label on the unit and the logitech software finds it straight away.

Using a Primewire brand cable to connect to TV and a set of Amazon basics cables to connect to Satellite, DVD and BluRay. All shielded so no problem keeping switch under TV.

So far haven't tried the remote so cannot comment.

Only one niggle: the rear panel legends are a wotsit to read, otherwise really simple.

Plug and play - works fine.

I would have liked to know the dimensions, they are:
Unit is 5" wide, 3" deep and 3/4" high. Think a stack of 2 pads of rectangular post it notes.

Packaging box is 5 3/4" square and 1 1/8" high.

It IS small and lightweight. Once the cables are plugged in, it stays put.

Very dim blue LEDs on top, one power, three for inputs, fine for me however. Would have been better colour coded but hey it's very cheap.

Ugreen is variable on their prices, I've yet to find anything not value for money.

Robust, supplied USB and remote cables thin but of the standard I expect from Ugreen.

Needs power input to handle Sky Q

Bought this because my Sky Soundbox has only one HDMI input and does not have an audio return channel. Got no picture or sound when I first connected the Sky Q box to it. It warns on the instructions that it needs a power input to handle needy devices, and since I have opted for UHD my box probably comes into that category. A USB power cable is included but no adapter, but I have half a dozen old phone chargers lying around so I pressed one of them into service, It now works perfectly with both the Sky Box and my Samsung DVD player. As promised, delivers 4k/UHD picture.
As the other reviews suggest, it detects the input automatically, so the remote control is not really needed. In fact I don't know if it works, though I have no reason to doubt that it does.
