Another Great Series Ruined by Woke-ism.
Was looking forward to Season 2, but within 10 minutes the writers just had to interject the evil "patriarchy" into things. Does every movie, show, etc, have to have a leftist political bend to it? I come here to be entertained, not lectured to like a post-modern, neo-liberal/Marxist professor at some Uni. Just like many of my other favorite shows, the propaganda just could not be left out. Going to pass on the rest of the Season.

Woke
If you are into the super woke thing. It's still pretty fun, not as good as season 1. If you are bothered by the overly woke content it will grate on your nerves the whole time.

The show makes the world melt away.
This season took so much of my attention that I didn't notice the time passing. Great world-building this season. The Upload story arc has an amazing flow. It doesn't hang on stuff too long making the drama feel overly drawn out. Everything feels like it has a natural progression. I can't wait for more!

WHY?! WHY MAKE IT SOOO FREAKING WOKE?!
Dear lord it is so aggravating when companies take a great series and destroy it by attempting to shove political wokeness down our throat. Remember ethan? Well he is white, so the show can no longer be about him and involve him so much. Like WHAT? Who in the world let the writers make that decision? SMH

Where did the writers go?
I'm not sure where the writers of the original masterpiece of season 1 vanished to, but this season has taken an unexpected dive into a foray of unsophisticated and exaggerated plot devices.

There was a dramatic irony, compelling social commentary, provocative love triangle, and visionary premise in the fist season. This season, however, is whimsical in a way that belies the brilliance and beauty of its predecessor.

Watch season 1 again and bask in amazement at the quality, then hold tight to your bliss by ignorantly pretending this season doesn't exist.

Glad Upload is back!
I’ve never been fully able to explain exactly why I like this show. The concept itself is existentially terrifying to me but somehow they find a way to do it so that it’s lighthearted, and here and there it’s pleasantly funny, if not riotously funny. All in all,, the show has always reflected the times. What previous generation would have conceived of the afterlife being a digital upload of your appearance and consciousness? It has always had a Millennial bent which I often don’t find to be a very good thing for a variety of reasons. That they pull it off and make me want to know what comes next is a sign that it’s a good show.

The episode completely worked in my opinion in a way that was consistent with the season that came previously. Oh, if Nathan‘s girlfriend Ingrid was annoying to you when she was still alive, you haven’t seen anything yet. It’s painful. But it is painful in a way that forces character development, much like life. It was enjoyable if a bit slow moving.

In short, if you liked the first season, you should like this episode, unless you let some right-bent worldview piss you off so outrageously in the first minute so that you just can’t bring yourself to go further. Takes two for that. I mean seriously, the stuff that could have been perceived as political happened in the first roughly minute of the show. If one minute of something is intolerable, that’s something to contemplate.

I liked the development of the Nathan character. That's it!
What a piece of trash namely the woke, gender fluid, equity crap...I don't need it to be sneaked into the script and preached not so under the radar. The values of "Hollywood" is just the same sort of trash that the lecture about the "rich" is injected also into the Marxist script. I will watch this only because I do want to see the development of the Nathan character further, but the crap above and the dismal humour is just revolting. There I've said it.

Ignore Bad Reviews
Folks are one starring and saying it went woke. Where exactly? There were moments where characters brought up something that would be considered "woke." What happens in these moments, is that it was done with sarcasm and actually really funny in the way they made fun of it. If you ever watch a comedy this is very easy to see they were making fun, and not joining in the wokeness. My only complaint is that we only got 7 episodes. This series is very fun, and goes by so incredibly fast. It's such a beautiful story between Nathan and Nora. The secondary characters are a lot of fun as well. I reject the ideas of virtue signaling, going woke and all that jazz entirely. But there isn't much I dislike at all in this show. I find myself rooting for Luke and Aleesha just as much as Nathan and Nora. Very unique show! Can't wait for season 3!!!
