I couldn't pass this up for $526 and use it for my cat in his sunroom to watch nature shows so he doesn't get bored and kill me in my sleep.
Negative: SO many issues! I have had this TV for 2 months and the amount of times that the visuals didn’t match the audio is too much - I had to turn the TV on and off to get it to reboot and work correctly. Also - the screen sharing (cast) from phones seems so work intermittently - sometimes it decided to just show a blank black screen. I plug it out and plug it in again (sometimes even twice) to get the screen share to work again.
More so, it’s a “smart TV” with apps, but very limited. HBO isn’t on here and neither is Spotify.
Overall: too many issues for such an expensive TV. I expected more, especially when I just got it and it’s brand new

Now the downsides. This is heavier than I expected weighing in at nearly 70 pounds. Just make sure you have some strong friends if you’re going to hang this on the wall. The speakers are not loud or clear enough and I’ll be investing in a sound bar. The TV doesn’t have all smart apps built in and there is not option to download more apps. It doesn’t have HBOMax, Sling and many others are missing. Yes, you can start these on your phone and then cast to the TV, but I prefer it all to be integrated on the TV.
Overall a nice buy for a 70” TV albeit imperfect.
I've had this tv for 3 days now. I've had the VIZIO apps freeze the tv four times so far. It's fully updated. But the screen freezes, and the remote stops working after watching an app for a few hours. I have to get up, walk over to the outlet the tv is plugged into, unplug it, then plug it back in. After a minute or so I can turn the tv back on, then after another minute or two when it has finished booting up I go back to what I was watching.
VERY ANNOYING! I will be putting a 4k FireStick into it, even tho it's a smart tv, to use the same apps it has (Pluto, Prime, and NetFlix) because the FireStick does not lock up trying to play a show. Still considering getting a wifi outlet plug so I can just say Alexa, turn off the tv instead of having to get up and go behind the tv stand to manually unplug it. But it hasn't crashed while playing video from a HDMI port yet, so I hope the FireStick will be all I need to make this tv somewhat reliable.
After. setting it up. We, powered it on, and saw nothing but squiggly color lines displaying on the screen. Then, we saw the back side of the TV panel had about half an inch that was popped out.
We just received it 6 days ago. I thought, it might just need a little tweaking for the color, but 6 days later I am still working with the picture and I hate it! I am completely unimpressed with the quality of the picture. This TV is easy enough to set up and link with your streaming accounts, and the remote is simple to use too....but the color quality is absolutely horrible! It seems to depend too on the channel you are viewing at the time as to how it look too, it's not responsive from one channel to another. In one night we watched movies where skin tone appeared yellow/orange, whites were way too bright and everything else seemed washed-out, and then when we switched and watched a regular channel via cable....colors and backgrounds were totally washed out. It is inconsistent color, not very adaptive at all.
THEN the sound started acting up. It just suddenly stops working (it has already happened twice in 4 days). I have to unplug the power source from the back of the tv and plug it back in.
I'm sending this back. It's a big tv with a good price, but it certainly supports the idiom "you get what you pay for." This television just isn't worth it....AT ALL!
