I researched for a long time before purchasing to what I thought was a 1080p tv, turns out it’s false advertising. Only got 720p. Returning this piece of junk. Thanks for nothing. 👎🏻

It’s a decent kitchen TV, but really nothing much else. Picture quality is good, it has various calibration settings for the colors so you can adjust it to taste. It has WiFi (2.4GHz only) and Ethernet for connectivity. I use it on WiFi and it works well enough. If your WiFi environment is very busy (like an apartment), get something that supports 5GHz.

The built-in chrome cast works well and responds reasonably quickly to inputs. The YouTube app is functional, if a little sluggish, like the other apps. Contrary to the suggestion on the box, you can NOT install additional apps on the TV. The 1000+ apps on the box is a misleading statement referring to apps you can use to chrome cast to the TV, not apps you can install on it.

The sound is passable, but barely. There is no bass at all, very tinny. To be expected with such a tiny speaker but necessary to mention regardless. Works fine for casual use, but not to relax and watch a movie with.

The remote connection is TERRIBLE. Swapped out many batteries before learning there's a known problem with this model. To fix, unplug the TV and hold the power button on the back of the TV down for 15 seconds (to drain all power from TV) and the remote will work again. This fix is temporary and you'll have to repeat it every couple days or your remote won't work.

CON, upon arrival we notice that the sound quality was very poor. tried playing with the sound settings, but beside balance that is are the is. I might have kept it, but i found that when switching between hdmi 1 and hdmi 2 the sound came out garbled and only cleared after turning off the tv then on again, this happens every time. my Pro is that the picture is great!

This TV has been a mess since we bought it last year. It inconsistently works. Often needs to be unplugged and replugged. It doesn't pair with any other remotes. The remote it came with stopped working and is very cheap. The update downloads are like an old computer and interrupt whatever you're doing.

I've never seen a television that was so poorly built.

Only thing I had luck with for a little while was the remote on my phone. But the TV doesn't like to work with the internet and requires a remote to be able to update the internet. There are no buttons on the TV to get to the menu. So this is basically just a monitor.

This TV does have both wireless and wired Internet. However, it will not play .mp3 nor .mp4 files from a file server and it does NOT have a web browser. If there isn't an app for what you want to watch, you'll out of luck. It's an OK TV, but priced too high for the few other features it provides.

I own 3 vizio smart TVs and won't ever buy this brand again. This one will neither run apps reliably nor chromecast stream reliably. I literally plug an hdmi cord into my phone to stream and plugged in a Fire TV stick that works great on the same wifi network with the same apps. I am literally a network engineer by trade and have tried everything. If you want an HDMI low res display it's fine.

The CPU in this roku-with-a-screen is S-L-O-W. Be aware, it can be frustrating, especially upon startup and when rewinding or fast-forwarding. Better off spending $100 more on a Samsung or LG smart TV.
