Not an origin story just a recap
Should have been called "Daryl's Greatest Hits." Origin stories are supposed to be about who the character was before you were introduced to them, not highlights of crap you've seen a million times.

Everything we love about Daryl
The origin story could have given more of his childhood/youth, back story, like Negan in "Here's Negan." Although we know a lot more throughout the series, I would have enjoyed seeing his father and family interactions (what happened to his mom?) All TWD did was narrate (through Norman Reedus), the story of Daryl we have already seen. Clarification of Daryl's feelings and growth was good. I suppose I was looking for something I didn't already know.

Origins?
I mean its not really a origins its essentially very light recapps boiled down into a could sentences each season or event in the characters story of the show. Their is a few things that they say that you might not have known, like certain events that the script writers wanted to convey that really wasn't what was conveyed in the show. If you have watched the whole show than you have no reason to watch it, it seems like its for people like newer generations who never saw the show but want to get caught up without actually watching it. While it will work for that purpose its not even close to just watching the whole show. If you want to know things that the characters were suppose to convey like emotions and such while recapping the show than you'll probably like it. If its not that long after you watch the show however you will find it hard to watch.

Overall an ok.
Everything was simply a recap of the entire Walking dead Dead story arc. It was entertaining.
It may be useful to those who don't follow the series closely, but that's about it.....

Just a recap....
Nothing new, just recaps... Wish they had really done some pre-walker back story but nope.

Heavilly Narrated but Good
You can tell they are reading lines, not telling a story from the heart. However, I get lost in the characters and the back story when they flash back. It's a great way to remind and to highlight the journey for each of them. Of Course D-Man is first. Without him the empire falls ;)
