"Red cherry" cloth has bright pink blobs painted on it

I ordered this H&Wanss tablecloth because I was looking for one made of natural fibers, and this is a 90% cotton/10% linen blend. The dimensions are as advertised, although it would be likely to shrink when washed given the natural fiber content. I haven't washed it yet so I can't comment on shrinkage and wrinkling. The fabric is relatively coarsely woven and if it's placed on top of anything brightly colored, some color shows through the tablecloth. Compared to a cotton/linen table napkin I had on hand, the napkin is clearly more finely woven, as shown in the photo. The lace edging the tablecloth adds vintage country charm, but the "red cherry" print consists of zingy bright pink blobs and looks like the artist just wasn't trying very hard. The fabric's raw edges are finished/serged and the lace edging has mitered corners, which improve the odds that it will launder well. It looks less charming in person than I'd hoped, especially when viewed up close, but I'll try to make it work in my rustic country home.

The Tablecloth is very well made and of good quality. It feels like a heavy canvas like material. It lays well on the table and doesn’t ‘ride around.’ It has crocheted lace edges to finish off the look. I paired it with a blue table runner to jazz it up a bit!
Love the farmhouse look! I would highly recommend!
