I love this stuff!

Firstly, I absolutely can't stand the the smell (let alone the taste) of factory made breads. Some breads made fresh at the store are okay, but never factory made. It's just a personal thing. I prefer my own cooking and baking over anything else. I do like crackers though and used to really like "hard tack" when I was a kid. I was shopping at Amazon Prime and saw this @ Whole Food's so figured I'd try it. Now I'm hooked. Hard and crunchy with a nice rye flavor. You have the rye, but it's not overwhelming. Spread a bit of butter on top, or slap on a slice of Tillamook sharp cheddar and you're good to go. This is good stuff.

This wasn’t the wafer like crispy bread I usually get, but the original rye, which is fine, but too dry for me. My tastebuds have changed. I think they taste awful. I used to love them.

These are oddly plain and flavorful at the same time. The flavor is subtle, so I can top them with just about anything. PB&J, hummus, turkey & cheese, etc.
Also, the packaging doesn't reseal, but the crackers stay fresh and crunchy for at least a couple of weeks (even in a humid climate).
Also, they're filling and healthy.

My favorite crackers or crisps

I've discovered these on a trip to a health retreat. These are very light and crispy and have a neutral flavor which I like (they are not salty at all). These are balanced with both potassium and sodium so they're much healthier than other crisps or crackers.

I also tried Wasa's multigrain one, but I didn't like those because they were very hard and crunchy, rather than light and crispy as these are.

These "crackers" are substantial. I use them broken up for cheese and crackers or as an alternative to a slice of bread. I like that they are low sodium and higher in fiber than some crackers on the market. The packaging ensures that no cracker is broken or crushed. One of my favorite go to snack.

I was thrilled to see that they sell Was a Crispbread! Growing up in Sweden I ate this everyday and I love it! Perfect to keep on the table at all time to snack on! My husband prefers the light rye over other varieties since it is "easy" to eat as it is thinner. My favorite is to eat crisp bread with a slice of good cheese! Yum!
