9/2/2020 - After purchasing this item, I gave it the review below. I HAVE AN UPDATE THAT EVEN AMAZON NEEDS TO TAKE SERIOUSLY. AFTER ALL THIS TIME, I JUST REALIZED THIS MOUSE ALLOWS HACKERS TO MONITOR YOUR ACTIVITY (all caps is to get your attention and not shouting). Recently, I noticed two things. First, whenever my computer would go to sleep due to inactivity, it would often "wake up." I couldn't figure out why it was doing that when I wasn't typing or using the mouse. The second thing I noticed happened while I was typing a paper for a class. I stopped typing to look at my notes and noticed my page was scrolling up and down on it's own. Out of curiosity and to make sure I was really seeing what I was seeing, I looked up to see if wireless mice can give hackers access to your computer and they can. With that, I removed the USB and I haven't had an issue since. I looked at the back of the mouse and it's made in China. So, they have definitely installed something in this mouse to monitor your activity and they are actively doing so.
If you have not purchased this mouse...DON'T. If you have and you happen to see this review, REMOVE IT IMMEDIATELY! AMAZON - Please send an email to everyone who has purchased this item and tell them to stop using it and pull it from your website.

I just purchased this mouse and I love the soft touch and quiet clicks. However, I thought I was going to have to return it because it wouldn't work. Quick tip: check the battery. It arrived yesterday and I couldn't get it to work on my PC or Chromebook. A generic battery was already installed in the device and I thought the battery might be the issue. However, I didn't have any at home and we were in the middle of a snow storm so, I couldn't get to the store. Today, I replaced the battery and ta-daaaaaaaa...it works. I'm using it with my Chromebook and had to make an adjustment under settings. It was weird but, prior to the adjustment, I had to click the opposite of how you normally click when operating a mouse. So, under settings, the "Swap primary mouse button" is off and "Reverse scrolling" is on. Now, I'm good to go and don't need to return it.

Brilliant, the right weight and size, and easy to set up. I would have given it five stars but I ordered purple (it shows purple on the box) but it is definitely a bright cerise pink! Love it tho
