Just got this to use with my iMac. It is about half the weight of the magic mouse that comes with the iMac. When you open the package, there is a 1 inch usb "stick" plugged into the bottom of the mouse. You simply take it out and insert it into the usb port on the back of the iMac. It does not need to be "discoverable" by the Mac bluethooth. So unbelievably simple.
The only thing that some people might not like about it, is that it has a red light on when the power button on the bottom of mouse is on, which sort of illuminates from the side of the mouse if your room is dark. This isn`t a big deal at all, but it is a feature that is different from the apple magic mouse, so I wanted to mention it.
I would recommend this mouse overall. It is cheap, looks nice and works.

I was skeptical before buying this mouse because it was so reasonably priced, but this is honestly the best wireless mouse I have used to date, including the original Mac mouse for my iMac at work. This operates so smoothly, and you don't have the annoying "clicking" like you do when using others. It's a nice, quiet, gentle click, if that makes sense. Battery life before having to recharge has been good so far - but I've only been using for a few days. I'm using it on a Chromebook, which many are not compatible with (learned that the hard way - be sure to always check system compatibility!). I would rate this 10 stars if I could.

You don’t need batteries. The only thing is that it is too low so it does not put support on my hands, painful for me.
It is very light and very thin, it does not make any noise, that is what I like about it. It looks very nice, not cheap looking at all. So my only complaint would be that is too low for my hand

Pros:
Smooth texture under my hand
Good movement and responsiveness

Unknown:
I don't know about the battery life. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now after the initial charge, and it's going fine.

Learning point: you have to click to "wake it up." Just jiggling the mouse doesn't do it. Not a big deal at all.

Overall: Very pleased and would recommend!

When my old mouse with my desktop iMac went bad, I decided to purchase another mouse like the one for my laptop. It is rechargeable, which means no more batteries to purchase for it and also makes it so much lighter than my old mouse! I just have to remember to charge it from time to time. It is a pleasure to use!
