The constant whiny baby’s of X-Men!

This movie was very disappointing. It lost the studio $100-$120 million, if that gives an idea of just how bad it is. I’m a big Marvel Comics fan, and this was horrible. The acting was horrible, the story line was extremely mediocre, and the production was cheap, especially for a Marvel movie. It made absolutely no sense at times, and it has NO chronological consistency to it at all. It honestly just felt like I was watching a bunch of whiny baby kids throwing temper tantrums, for no reason, the entire time. Always blaming everyone and everything else for their own problems and issues. Which sends a horrible message. They had to, of course, make it political. We do not want Hollywood thinking it’s okay to inject political beliefs into movies. We watch movies to escape the realities of life. (Unless your making a movie specifically about politics.) Especially in today’s world where everything is political. We don’t want that junk in movies. For those wanting to know if you should watch it.... I wouldn’t waist my time on it. Thats 2hrs of my life I’ll never get back.

Another feminist re-write that falls flat

So many little hints. So many little digs. Even the good intentions of men are about controlling and using women. By far, the most uninteresting and worthless movie of the series.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Tired of destroying the stories.

Why are all the remakes destroying the stories that so many of us grew up with? You could make tons of movies on content that hasn't been made into a movie yet, but no let's remake the awesome history into a different one that most people don't like. This movie wouldn't have been that good as just a sci-fi stand alone.

They completely change the entire history of the X-Men characters! Not cool!

We would have loved this movie if not for them changing the entire history that we've come to know of the X-Men characters. It was a shock to see so many changes that make no sense with the other movies we've seen. If it wasn't for this we would have loved the movie but that's just ridiculous they could have kept the Integrity of the X-Men franchise and still made a great movie but failed to do that by changing everything that we've come to know. And we are huge fans of the Marvel franchise and this was unfortunately incredibly disappointing to see so many confusing twists that make no sense for a prequel. A horrible way to end the X-Men franchise of movies.

Didn't fit into any of the other movies

Without giving any spoilers:
None of the characters seem to have aged appropriately and several characters' storylines don't fit with any of the other films which left me confused in the end. As a stand-alone film, it was entertaining. I'd place the film above "The Last Stand" and below "Apocalyse."

Very good from beginning to end

Fantastic special effects, some of the best I've seen. Action oriented story-line keeps your attention all the way through. Good acting by some consummate professionals.
