How do I stop them from auto connecting after charging? They’re always dead, because of it. Pointless.

Before putting them into charge make sure BOTH units have told you they are off. "Voice dial ... Power Off." The button must be held in longer to get the "Power Off" message and it MUST be done for both right and left earbuds before you recharge them. I hope that helps this at least works for me, if this doesn't work for you contact the seller.

You can also go to your Bluetooth settings on your device and tap ‘disconnect‘ to turn them off as well!
