Hello Amazon Guest, even though there are no parts of the Activity Loops intended to be mouthed by children under 36-months, it does pass the EU (European Union): Bisphenol A (BPA): Toys test, which must be under .04mg/l for toys that are mouthed. This toy is well under .02mg/l, making it virtually BPA free. You can take comfort in knowing that Manhattan Toy has procedural oversight to ensure our products meet or exceed the arduous CPSIA regulations. Appreciate your interest and inquiry. Also, my apologies for the tardy response.
