We have hardwood floors too. The tower has soft felt things that you stick onto the legs. I haven't seen any scratching :)

No, it doesn't fold up. But it is very sturdy and safe. We added the easel on to the back so that there was no opening in the back. That added to safety. You need to have room for it. I believe it is 39 inches in height. It’s sturdy and has been great at each of my grandkids homes!!!

Yes - they can use the footholds on the (narrower) side of the tower and climb into it themselves. We bought this when my son was just a bit over 2, and he had no issues climbing it. I highly recommend this tower :)

It’s probably a mistype. I would say all of these can probably hold 200 pounds at the most safely.
