I'm having the same problem. So I have submitted a question as to which eye make up remover works. I got some of the glue on my finger and tried removing it with Maybelline regular eye make up remover (not the oily one since I wear contact lenses); but it didn't do very well.

No! I had an emotional moment and the next thing I know, the corners of my lashes are peeling off!!! Well first the glue gets bright white again n then it starts peeling off!! If you think you are going to cry or going to an emotional event, def don't get this glue

Hey, no the glue is not supposed to be watery to the point where it's dripping from the brush, well at least mine didn't come like that. It's a liquid but its not to watery. You should contact the seller or amazon to receive another product.

YES! I use the glue as directed, with some pretty dramatic lashes, so you can imagine the weight it holds. My lashes stayed on through a 3hr road trip from Iowa to Chicago, rain, extreme winds that easily inverted an umbrella, exploring the city for 12hrs, and the 3hr car ride back home, not to mention all the watery eyes from yawning on the ride back! Just be careful to not let the glue get wet before it sets on your false lashes and on your eyelid! Very important! see less YES! I've used this duo, the original, and the dark/black duo. This is my favorite as far as application and wear time. I reorder this everytime. As for eyeliner, for pens I do a bit high end (Kat Von D) but the best liquid liner is one of the cheapest! And that is NYC liquid liner. So dark and the brush is nice.
