NO, This is an "Ice Tea spoon" not a "teaspoon" originally called a parfait spoon designed to reach a deep narrow glass. (similar to Steak & Shake) The spoon is smaller than a teaspoon with a longer handle thus much smaller than a table spoon. You may be serching for a "Serving spoon".

Probably, but I don't know. I don't remember looking at the packaging. They are very well made, though- I use them every day. The bowls seem a little smaller than the old "Tea Spoons" we used to have, but they are sturdy, and have a nice finish.

You could use these spoons for ice cream. The bites would be small but it would work. I bought them for my husband to mix his rum and Coke’s with. He needed a tall spoon. The handle is nice and long so the balance with ice cream may be off.
